Has anyone had the beer camp beers? Just picked up the 12 pack and looking forward to it!

Went to my go to beer store the other day for some beer and noticed One Company (forget which one) already had their pumpkin beer in store, I also saw Victory's Fest Bier on display.   It's bad enough seeing these beers in August, but to see them in July!?  Absurd!

Yup, they start rolling them out in August, and they're basically gone by October. It's annoying but the weather has been very fall-esque lately so it wouldn't be too crazy to drink one now.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

My weizenbock I brewed on Fathers Day has turned out pretty well.  It's a little under carbonated, but all and all tastes pretty well.  A few more weeks in the bottles should help the carbonation, I would give it a B minus.

Here's a pretty legit top 50 list with the exception of DFH.

While it's rated too high IMO, I can see DFH being in the top 10 or so. Hill Farmstead (based soley on what I hear/read) and The Bruery are way underrated IMO.

I would move Devils Backbone higher on the list,  DFH and Stone lower.  I'm surprised Victory is ranked so high as well and yet no mention of Troegs.

I haven't had a ton of Devils Backbone, but of what I have had, I haven't been incredibly impressed.

Victory probably should be lower, but I'd have them over Troegs. Tired Hands is the best brewery in South East PA IMO.

Stone is easily one of my favorite breweries so I have no issue there.

You take that back!

Their Vienna Lager is fantastic and easy to drink.  Bought a ton of it when I moved and everbody enjoyed it, it's hard to find a craft beer that everyone likes but the Vienna Lager is one of them..  Their 8 point IPA is in my top 5 for IPA's, it's that good.  And they make a Scwarzbeir (who makes those) that is amazeballs!  Their Irish Red Ale is good too.

I swear we've talked about this before.  New Belgium being on the list at all is awful.  Much less #7 or whatever.

Agree with Web about Devil's Backbone.  Had a bunch of it at a training in VA last winter and they were boardline undrinkable.

Victory is pretty terrible too.  Where is Alpine?  Its not a terrible list though.

Eh, I'm not really into lagers. The Eight Point IPA is very good, but not close to my top 5 IPA's. I need to try more of their beers, though.

Curious what you drank of their beer that you didn't like?

Vienna Lager, 8 point, Schwartz, all the ones you listed.  Bottle and draft.  Yuck.  I wanted to like it but it tasted like it was brewed for Cerrano on St Patrick's Day.

New Belgium is rated too high, but they have some good stuff, especially some of the Lips of Faith beers.

As for Victory, have you had Dirt Wolf? Great IPA imo. Headwaters, Storm King, Ranch Double IPA, Ranch R, and Swing are all very good IMO.

Anyway, I just dropped $90 on 4.5 liters of beer I won't have for quite some time. I'm speaking of the Stone Berlin collaborations.

Ayinger's Oktoberfest is now available at the Wine Source and some other places. That is all.

Duclaw's Sweet Baby Jesus... Delicious. But I don't think I could have more than one.

Union was solid beer wise. Pretty much everything was ok to pretty good. Nothing was great.
