It will be interesting to see if Urban and Williams are able to improve their technique and be able to have a combo of good technique and brute strength.

Tough news about Urban... was looking forward to him being part of the rotation.

Confirmed torn ACL. It would have been nice to have him, but he was a fringe guy. Probably would not have been active most games.

Fortunately for the Ravens, DL is one position with quality depth. Still have Tyson, Jernigan, and KLM as reserves.

On Urban: He is a raw but impressively strong defensive lineman who will help on short yard and goaline rush defense. He has the ability to become a true all around defensive tackle later in his career. But this is the beauty of the Ravens defense. They have situational players. They have a package for everything. Expect a lot of no huddle against Baltimore. If they let us rotate players at will, we'll eat offenses alive.

I wish we had this much depth in the secondary though.

The positive here is that he can learn for the next year. He won't be able to do a lot of drills for a while obviously but he can absorb a lot over the season and be ready to contribute next year.

By this time next year, Ngata, Canty and Cody could be gone.

His depth will be needed.

Since he was raw and we are so deep at DLine, Gabe is right in that he likely would have been inactive a lot of weeks.
