Wow, I finally got to see the images of the 'debris'.

Its a big leap to suggest that debris is associated with this wreck.  Hell, its even a leap to call that debris.

“Due to the distance to and from the search area, the aircraft involved have an endurance of approximately two hours of search time,” it said.

HA!  2 hours is enough to cover about 400 square miles, under optimal search conditions.  Not that much at all.

Even if they do find something, all they can do is photograph it with those fixed wing assets.  You'll need a helicopter (good luck) or a boat to pick it up.

There's entirely too much media to suspend the search, but if there was no media I would guess they'd probably stop really soon.

Good to see CNN is doing their best to get to the bottom of this.........

CNN anchorman asks: Could a 'black hole' explain MH370 mystery?

Near the end of CNN's special primetime report on Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 on Wednesday, anchor Don Lemon read a pair of tweets he received from viewers suggesting the plane's disappearance could be the result of a "black hole," Bermuda Triangle or an occurence akin to the television series "Lost."

Lemon then turned to Mary Schiavo, former inspector general of the U.S. Department of Transportation, and said, "I know it's preposterous, but is it preposterous, do you think, Mary?"

It could be one of those black holes that's hungry for airplanes but not Earth's atmosphere.

Oh please.

The plane was nowhere NEAR the Large Hadron Collider.

CNN has gone total ape shit with their shameless coverage. But they have been the place I've tuned into for "breaking news".

Australia saying they have "credible leads" on the plane location. Whatever that means.

It feels like ever since Australia broke the news about the debris in the water earlier this week that they were pretty certain it was from the plane.

My guess is they generally know where it went down in the ocean.

The word generally being used very liberally.

Data supports power failure from fire in the cargo hold. Could lithium batteries be to blame?

Search has been called off, nearly 3 years after plane disappeared.

I'm putting my money on pilot suicide. That's the most obvious reason. However, fire is also likely.

I hope we'll eventually find out. It would be nice to learn from this tragedy in some regard.

More than likely it will never be found. The Indian Ocean is HUGE.

Certainly could still be pilot suicide. If so though they have pretty much determined he didn't take the plane into the water under manual control.

Right, which would go against a pilot suicide.

If it was a suicide, that's salt in the wound of a massive tragedy but at least it wasn't the fault of the plane or the crew.

If it wasn't, it's still a tragedy that hopefully can be prevented.
