Well that didn't take long. Liverpool corner in the 13th minute and Van Dijk heads it home. 1-0 Liverpool. Geebus this team has so many weapons.

Liverpool is miles ahead of ManU in quality. Lucky it’s only 1-0.

Liverpool is currently up 25 points on Manchester City, 82-57. Based on the number of remaining matches, the maximum point total that City could finish with is 87. So any combination of six points gained by Liverpool (to get to 88) or not gained by City would give Liverpool the title.

City plays Wednesday against Arsenal and Saturday against Burnley before Liverpool plays again, Monday at Everton. Meaning if City loses one of those matches, Liverpool could be playing for a chance to win the title in the Merseyside Derby at their biggest rival. And if Arsenal loses both, they will have won and will apparently be given a celebration on the pitch before the match--in front of the Toffee fans. Which would be fun.
