On First Take last week, Skip Bayless said he doesn't think Chris Paul is worth a max contract.

Personally, I nearly fell off my couch, as I consider Paul in the top 2 with Derrick Rose on the list of best PG's in basketball.

Was this typical Skip talk, or does he have a point?

He's basically regarded as the best PG in the game, Top 10 player by everyone, and a Top 5 player by most.

Pretty crazy, even for Skip.

Shame on you for watching to First Take.

Bayless being Bayless. Can we make a pact not to discuss his trolling opinions on BSL.

Paul is a top 5 player.

Skip is a top 5 troll.

And you listened? Serves you right.

I have him as the best PG in basketball right now and a top 10 player easily, but it wouldn't shock me if Kyrie passed him soon -- guy just needs to stay healthy.

Not overrated as a player, that's for sure..

However, I'm not sure he's the best teammate out there. Simmons talks about how he and Griffin really don't get along very well, and CP is constantly berating his teammates...That might wear on guys after a while, who knows.

I think it's possible to argue he's not the best point guard (Jalen Rose thinks it's Tony Parker. He might be right), but not worth a max contract is insane. He's got the wrong overrated Clipper (looking at you Blake Griffin).

"He's angry right now and his anger is directed toward the Clippers organization," the source said. "Chris is a man of principle and if he feels like you've gone against his principles, it will affect how he feels about you. He's very agitated that his name has been put out there as the reason for Vinny's firing. He had nothing to do with it."

Maybe CP3 will be leaving the Clippers.

Bill Simmons ‏@BillSimmons

The Mavs, Rockets + Hawks are delighted that @Chris_Broussard is reporting major CP3/Clips tension. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/9327713/chris-paul-upset-los-angeles-clippers-factor-impending-free-agency

It's just the first 5 minutes of preseason, but DeAndre Jordan looks like a different player.

Elaborate please. Also why are you watching that over playoff baseball and MNF?

Looks like he dropped weight and added muscle. After yesterday's marathon, I'm football'd out, so checking out the Blazers for the first time.
