Really unprofessional, letting a foul ball drop just so the pitcher has another chance to strike out the guy so he can get to 200 K's for the year.  That's the thing you do sometimes in video games, not real life, let alone the Majors.

It's only a thing if the Red Sox were playing a game that actually mattered. So maybe they should try doing that again next year so they can avoid this.

Apparently the Red Sox were intentionally recording non-K outs. I don't know how they intentionally do that, but that's what happened, apparently.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

They gave up nothing for him.

I would be pissed if I were an Indians fan.

How did the Angels not beat that offer? Or any contending team that needed starting pitching for that matter.

Some signs of decline but still, if you are the Angels, you have to beat that offer.

It’s worth a shot.

I can’t believe they didn’t get anything significant back.

I’d argue that we got more for Bundy.

Clase is a potential elite reliever. But he’s a reliever and they are very volatile. Deshields is nothing.

Maybe Mancini could be a target for Texas now since they lost Deshields and Mazara.

Totally agree.  WTH.

Kluber is 34, but his injury wasn't elbow or shoulder structure.  Heck, the rest might have been great for him.

You see this and the Bumgarner deal and these guys have to be wondering what happened to the market in 4 days.

I think Baum got a good deal.

This Kluber deal is terrible.

The Orioles don’t want to spend any money but I would have dealt Tanner Scott and something else for Kluber in a heartbeat...and just hope he looks really good again and flip him for more later.

I was thinking the same thing.
