Also, I know it's probably getting old by now when people keep saying, 'wow, this is real'... but I'll say it again...

Who the hell thought we'd have this type of thread this season?

Yea, this is getting serious!

You know how obsessed I've been via Facebook, but it's literally becoming all I think about..

Out at the bar for my brother's bachelor party... requested the TV's to have the A's and White Sox games on. Pretending to listen to my friends while actively watching the games.

Yup, we win tonight and "It's On!!!" :P

Oh Greg, I think it's STILL ON regardless, but a win tonight really positions us well at least for the wild card...However, screw the wild card, I want to host the 1st game of the ALDS!

The lower seeds host games 1 and 2...we wouldn't get a home game until Game 3 if we're the AL East champ!

I know it's a one-year thing, but I think this format really favors the lower seed, if they take both of the first two games, just have to win one of the remaining three.

Not I....do you know how many shows I'm DVRing this year!?!??! My queue is mostly filled on my DVR box due to not missing an O's game in over a month on TV...except when I was actually there! I bet out of 155 games this year on TV, there is about 5-8 games I did not see. My wife is excited for the playoffs but excited for the season to be over to get hte TV back.

Yeah I agree. But with the late addition of the WC, they pretty much had to schedule it that way, rather than 2-2-1 with two travel days, in case everything got delayed with tie-breaker games.

I'm aware and if some of those three or four team tiebreakers, it would really screw things up. I would've delayed it a year(I said that back in March), obviously I want the O's to get in though.
