This is a better option than Brockers imo.

Didn't Wolfe go on IR last year?  Did he agreed to some medical provision in his contract?  Did the Ravens not think a  medical re-check necessary for a smaller deal?   Or... ?

Dislocated elbow Week 13.

12 games, 7 sacks.

2012 2nd round pick...  always regarded as strong against the run.

I guess they had some independent doctor sign off whom they trust...

Well it’s probably not an official deal yet.

Would have rather had Brockers but the shorter deal certainly isn’t something I will complain about.

A nice recovery by the Ravens.

They clearly want to generate a inside pass rush.

It’s a 1/3 deal with incentives

Big reason why I prefer Brockers.

I prefer Brockers too, but this is a move that could pay off.  Lineman, get hurt, so that to me is part of the game.

Consider the value against cost.

This allows the Ravens to hold some cap in the event someone is injured, someone is released after the draft or over the summer, surprising cap casualty in August, or it allows them to sign a player like Kelechi Osemele to fill Yanda's spot.

So this means Pierce will yield a 4/5th in comp, this will be canceled by Seth Roberts deal.

Im a fan of Wolfe. Hope he can stay healthy, or at least be healthy down the home stretch of the season.

I have a feeling we will have a chance at him in R2.

I agree that Brockers is more durable, but Wolfe managed 7 sacks in 12 games last year.  Not bad, especially for the price.  Wink usually rotates on the DL pretty well, so hopefully Wolfe can stay healthy.
