Whenever I say Honey Bear, my brother reminds me that it wasn't Honey Bear, it was Sugar Bear.... but at home we never poured sugar out of a bear, only honey...

Sugar Bear Rayford also caught some too.

Gus would make him look like a speedster

Brooks once said he liked Triandos for a lot of reasons, not the least of which was because he could actually outrun him.

Etchebarren and Ellie Hendricks should make the list as a platoon.

Gus was so popular, the street he lived on was renamed Triandos Drive.  I think it still is.  It is in Timonium, near Pot Spring Road.

Lots of them lived around that area at one time or another.  My Dad worked for the phone company and knew the address of their phone numbers.

Some people called him Honey Bear, some called him Sugar Bear. And some just called him Floyd.

True, Brooks, Boog, Belanger, Gus, Gentile and others all lived in the Timonium and Cockeysville area.   Many of the Colts too.

My Dad worked for Greenspring Dairy, and had many as customers and worked with some in a charity function for an orphange that was up in that area.

I think most of us who call him Honey Bear are semi-old farts who forgot it was Sugar Bear....  ;-)
