So in the past with my ticket plan I have only been able to buy one ticket for each seat in my plan for Opening Day (so if I had a two seat plan I could buy two opening day tickets).

I just got the email from the team that the Opening Day sale is on 2/4.  The language on the email states:

"To access the sale, you can login to Orioles Account Manager where you will see the 'Buy Tickets' button appear beginning at 12:00 p.m. You may purchase up to eight (8) tickets during this sale."

I guess this is a new feature?  Or maybe it's because I've reached some threshold of years having a plan?  Maybe they're letting us buy 8 because they expect demand to be especially low?  Any other plan holder get a similar email?

I did as well.

This was always the way it was until the team started winning. 2014 was the first year we couldn't buy 8.

They are desperate to see tickets.  Any price changes?

Opening Day tickets are on sale at Orioles.com.  Nothing great, but plenty of seats available.

Just grabbed 4 tickets. That was easy.

I'm planning on going this year, which will be my 4th in a row. Previous 3 years I've locked up seats by now, usually months ago, on the secondary market. Happened to look at ticket prices while we were driving in last year and, needless to say, I've been overpaying!

Unfortunately several seats will be bought by a bunch of jackasses who will show up in the 3rd inning and proceed to act like that day was the first time they had beers.

Shame they take up the seats for fans who want to be there for the game and not just so they can say they went to pickles before.

Agreed. This year I would just stay at Pickles. :D

Cheaper beer and there's less annoying Yankee fans.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Thanks, it is very sad, that they still have OD tickets available this late.

I think, if we wait to game 2, they will come and pick us up.

Opening tickets are almost always available until the last minute. “This late” isnt unusual.

I got tickets this morning. My oldest sons second OD. Looking forward to it.

I used to take the kids every year.  The kids are grown up.  My grandsons are next.  Still a little too young, but soon.  Enjoy the day.  It is always a special one.

Has anyone seen anything about what they plan to do about the tickets?

Are they going to refund the money given the idea that we have no idea when any game will be played?

I doubt they refund, but maybe.

Imagine they can't announce any plan until it's clear what the schedule is going to be.

If the season is starting Memorial Day / June;  I'd think they have to totally redo the schedule vs. what was out there previously.
