My biggest question is...who is #28?!? lol...Also, the Ravens did this well because they had Suggs. Correa is not going to be able to block the Ravens big tight ends. And the Ravens would assuredly put Andrews on the weak side of this play that they weren't running to as well.
I'll add that this isn't how Pees is going to attack the option read from the Ravens it's how everyone already has been.
I don't know how to post my own picture that's copy and pasted here. But, the play to compare this to is the Houston game, it's 9:24 left in the 2nd quarter. Ravens are in 13 personnel kind of like he shows here. Nearly identical formation. Execpt, they are in Shotgun not pistol and Andrews is in the slot with Roberts next to him. The Ravens just run a double post route here, and the FS follows Andrews and Roberts is open for the TD. There is a very strong chance the Titans play this defensively the same way in single high with man underneath and a spy on Lamar. I'd fully expect Lamar to be checking into a pass if that's the defensive look he gets because that's almost a dead to rights giveaway for single high for what I've been watching from Tennessee.
That being said, there is another play in the Houston game that almost plays out like this guys says. It's at 5:08 in the 1st (those are the only two times they are in 13 personnel in the first half). But this time there is a bunch of TEs to the outside and it's Boykin on the outside. It's in Pistol, Andrews motions all the way to the slot of the other side (so they actually get the same formation as the TD pass I referenced earlier that comes later). Hurst runs a wham block which pulls the MLB.
The safety chases Andrews in motion, the OLB stays with Lamar, the weak side ILB is essentially out of the play by Hurst running the reverse wham away from the play. Ingram runs wide of Boyle to the right and the play is blown up. But, the C and the LG double the NT as the tweet indicates, once Skura gets his leverage, Bozeman peels off. And there is a massive lane opening up, Bozeman is free to block the WILB that's coming back from Hurst. If Ingram stays under Boyle, this plays is a massive 20+ yard gain.
I'll stick both of these plays in my artcile that I'm going to post tomorrow.
