BSL: https://www.baltimor...three-games-go/

Five thoughts wrapping up the Bills game, and looking ahead to the next three games. Can they win out? What if they lose a game, or more? Do you rest guys, and how?

Win the next two, and the Steelers game can be the RG Threesus bonanza.

One thing I hate about 1 and 2 seeds resting starters in the last regular season game...is that they already have the bye coming.

If you don't play the last regular season game, then have the bye...you've been on the shelf awhile prior to the Divisional game.

I'd play the starters for a half.

Yea I would play Lamar at least for a quarter.

I’m not worried about reps for Pierce or Williams, so they would be inactive for me.

Yanda, Stanley and Brown come out when Lamar does.

Probably would be taking some of the secondary guys out or making them inactive too.

Andrews as well.

Two more, and then rest.

We could clinch a bye this week, with a win and a Bills win.

Two wins and the AFC road to the SB comes through Baltimore.  What a year, Go Ravens!

Is that right? The Pats could still go 13-3 and the Chiefs 12-4. If we were 12-4 and the Chiefs were 12-4, we'd lose the tiebreaker to KC by virtue of H2H loss. I think we'd still need a KC loss to clinch a bye this week.

Winning 2 more games gets us to HFA no matter what, as the Pats are the only team that can match 13-3.

If the Bills win and we win, the absolute worst case scenario is a 3-way tie at 12-4 (assuming the Pats don't choke further and can beat the Dolphins and Bengals). Chiefs beat the Ravens and Pats and would get the 1 as a result. Then the Ravens would get #2 based on the win over the Pats.

So specifically he's saying a Bills win but that's next week, not this week. Just trying to clarify, I don't think we can clinch a bye with a win this week without a loss from KC or NEP. If one of them loses, then we can because statistically neither of those two teams could pass us.

Yep, if the Bills beat the Pats, and we beat the Jets.  We clinch a bye.

The best the Pats could do is 12-4 at that point and we own the tie break.

Two wins clinches everything, no matter what anyone else does.

It'd be pretty impressive for the Bills to beat a team they aren't playing :)

Pretty sure Bills have the Steelers this week and then the Pats nxt week. And the Pats have Cinci.

That is true.  Bills are at Pittsburgh this week.  For the Ravens to clinch everything this week they need to win, Patriots to lose at Cincy, and KC to lose at home to Denver.  They can clinch at least a first round bye with a win and either a Patriot or Chiefs loss.
