Also, Arky Vaughn is probably one of the most underrated players ever.

Bill James helped the reputations of Arky Vaughn and Joe Morgan more than any other players. From very good to historically great.

Yep. The Historical Abstract is why I said what I said.

But I'm guessing that most baseball fans still haven't even heard of Arky.

Brain Kenny had him #3 on his list, Russo doesn't put any steroid guys in his top 10, but said he'd have been #1 if he did.

I'm obsessed with these top 10 right now shows every year, and this is the first year they've done all time lists. Pretty cool.

MLB Network all-time top-ten list shows featuring Chris Russo are pretty much what I expect they will use on me in The Bad Place once they get bored with the penis flatteners.

Kenny doing it is fine.

Russo has no business being involved.

He knows his stuff, but always is Giants heavy, as expected.

He and I (and Brian Kenny oddly enough) all share a birthday, so i have a special place in my heart for them.

Kenny was one of the best guests we interviewed back on the podcast days.

That was a great one..

He and Dog are both Baseball encyclopedias, I could listen to them go at it for hours (even with Russo's voice)

The only thing that keeps me from having MLB network on all the time is that 2 hours give or take that Russo is on.

Clearly true. Although you can make a case for Wagner

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I think he’s a condescending asshole personally

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Yes, but they were only looking at live ball players.
