Absolutely stole that win. Didn't deserve it, but take it and hope to get better with the time this bought you.

ACL and probably more for Jefferson

I feel bad for him but it’s not a big loss outside of some leadership.

Last game as a Raven?

PI was included in the review because of the turnover.

So why wasn’t it reviewed?

Or did they and it was that quick?

3-2

Bengals
@Seattle
Patriots
@Bengals
Texans
@Rams
49ers
@Bills
Jets
@Browns
Steelers

Based on what we've seen as of right now, 8-8 seems likely. But, things change, injuries and bounces and bad calls happen, so...

He didn't go into detail, but it sounded like it was looked at quickly by whomever decides what gets automatically reviewed and what doesn't and decided that it didn't need to be reviewed.  Seems like a inexplicable decision to me.

I decided a long time ago to never complain about a road win in Pittsburgh but, man, they didn’t look great today.

Also, the nfl needs to can this PI review rule.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

To piggy back on what Mack said. Harbaugh made sure to let the ref know that they needed to look at the PI in New York. But after that it’s out of his hands. So either they didn’t see the PI, or they didn’t look for it. Which is bad either way.

On the telecast, the announcers said La Canfora is saying the Ravens will be active in the trade market.

Know people don't care for him, but he is here locally and typically plugged into the Ravens.

We won but this is not a solid team at all. We don't excel in any area.

Mildly disagree. Special teams and run game are pretty damned good.

Certainly haven't looked good since Miami.

But teams change over the course of the year.  There is talent and the coaching staff typically does a good job.  Stay alive and don't get buried, then hopefully the play of the defense improves.  Scheme up some way to get pressure, figure out things in the secondary, get Jimmy Smith healthy, get better play from the replacement LBs or snap the intended starters back into reality.  Not impossible to see the same group getting better, IMO.  Hopefully they can tread water well enough for the time being where if that does happen at some point down the road, it can lead to a meaningful result.

On the first Jackson INT, Andrews was spun around by the waist or else it’s an easy catch for him. So because it was a turnover, and all turnovers are reviews in the booth (NY) the challenge flag can’t be thrown if you thought it was PI. The look for PI is supposed to go into the review process. But Harbaugh said he asked the refs to let NY know to look for PI. But he gets no explanation after the fact. So either they didn’t see it, or didn’t look for it.

Would be for me.  Jimmy will get back and help the Secondary at some point.

They can't generate any pass rush.

Of course if you had Ramsey, then you could feel confident about him and Marlon playing outside 1x1 and bring more rushers.

Until that happens, I think you gotta drop guys into the Secondary.... even when they tried to pack the line with 9, they still couldn't get home. They just left WR's with a lot of area to operate,  making things easy for Hodges.

I also think Judon and McPhee would be more effective (particularly later this year) if they are able to reduce their snap count.

Thanks. My impression so far is that unless it's an egregious miss like the one NO deserved that started the NFL down this path, it won't get called/reversed.

I can’t believe they didn’t look into the PI further.

If you aren’t looking into that, why have review on it at all?

Smith being out is a bigger loss than people think imo

Was happy to see Hurst get 4 catches today.  Keep finding him.

They've got to continue to work on finding ways to get Hill and Boykin more involved.
Particularly Hill imo, as I think he's got the explosion to really open things up.   I'd be looking to put him and Hollywood on the field together more often.

Young is the biggest loss.
