Seems a bit early to be talking about it during the season. But I believe the Ravens will deal Hayden Hurst this offseason for a high draft pick.

Who is giving up a high draft pick for Hurst? Unless he has a huge finish to 2019, a 4th round pick would be my guess at his value.

I'd be surprised if we traded him.

Me too.

The problem with Hurst is the number of targets,   He is a good player, IMO

He catches pretty much everything thrown to him. I guess that means he doesn't get open enough, or Roman/Lamar are not as comfortable with him as with Andrews to scheme him into more plays.

It seems teams are keying more on Andrews which is leaving Boyle open.

I think it's awesome that Koch barely has to punt, he really is very good at his craft.

Ummm, so Koch didn't punt this week. And even with zero points on the first two drives, it wasn't apparently event a consideration.

Also, I'm trying to manufacture some interest right now.

Finally, something to get Lamar fired up. I'd really like to see him show a bit more emotion on the sideline. :)

If it makes you feel any better, fivethirtyeight uses computers to determine their power rankings and they still have NE up by a hair.  Yahoo Sports also put NE first, but they also said that it was 1a and 1b.

I think it's because they don't want to overrate the Ravens on the back of a winning streak, and the Ravens did lose to the f***ing Browns, and managed to play the worst team in the NFL close earlier in the season.

Top 10 in all 3 categories.

Btw, for all the talk of the Pats “bad offense”, they are 12th in offensive DVoA.

Same with the “bad defense” in KC, that is also 12th in DVoA.

All year the talk has been that the best teams are in the NFL yet the top 3 teams by dVoA are in the AFC.

Of course the next 7 are in the NFC..lol

I'd just be careful with "ranking". KC was 17th last week in defense so below average rank then. The Ravens improved in total defense a few weeks ago but got worse in rank, too. The Pats offense which had just 17 points, went up 1.1% and down a spot in overall rank in DVOA, too. (I'm still not sure how that performance they put on this week resulted in their offensive DVOA going up...they punted 8 times with a 4.8 YPA on the game and averaged 3.4 YPC...).

Seriously though, how did the Pats total DVOA on offense improve?? That's stunning to me. I'd say that result doesn't pass the eye test for me.

Even at 17th, KC’s defense would be good enough if they get their offense back on track.

When it comes to do or die play off games, I am not sure it matters what the numbers say
