Deified-Dozen-2019-Week-1.jpg

https://www.baltimor...ll-week-1-poll/

Auburn cracked our Dozen this week, shooting all the way up to #8 after defeating previous #10 Oregon. Oklahoma also gained a couple spots after a very impressive win over Houston. Florida saw a drop after looking less-than-impressive in Week Zero against Miami.

Week 2 should be a very interesting week of non-conference action. There are two major games featuring two teams from the Deified Dozen; #10 Texas A&M visits defending national champion #1 Clemson and #7 LSU travels to Austin to face #11 Texas. Another game to keep an eye on is #6 Michigan hosting Army, who last year put a scare into Oklahoma, falling by just a TD in overtime.

I have a hunch the TX flavor we've had in the Dozen these past two weeks is about done.

Always feels weird to knock a team down after they won but I feel like I gotta move LSU above Michigan.

I’ll post my ranks later.

Bold with LSU #3, I love it. Didn't have the guts to pull the trigger. Also see two with Michigan outside the top 12. Very interesting.

I think you can doubt their offense but I do think Army is good and it’s not that surprising that it was close.

UM still should have won by more but I don’t think they deserve to drop out of the top 12 unless you only had them in the 8-10 range to begin with.

Im not particularly down on Michigan. Just 12 teams I currently like better.

All best guess work until the body of work increases.

Interesting to see guys  putting Bama ahead of Clemson.

I think they've pretty much been interchangeable for years now, and if form holds it will be Alabama's turn to finish on top.
