Not sure where to put this, but Woodstock 50 is apparently moving to Merriweather Post Pavilion. And it's in like 3 weeks.

Merriweather Post Pavilion, which is about an hour’s drive from Washington D.C.

It's in three weeks, and they haven't sold any tickets or booked any bands, so I don't see what could go wrong.
From what I've read, the problem was that the promoters paid all the bands up front (although the move to Maryland now apparently means the bands aren't actually contractually obligated to play). The promoters had insurance if the show was cancelled, but the insurance wouldn't pay if the promoters cancelled it themselves. So they pretty much had to keep trying to put on the show.

A memory of one of my visits to Merriweather. It's been many a moons since than, probably late 70's or early 80's. Anyway, while walking around on the lawn area I saw a $20 bill folded in half, just laying on the grass. I did pick it up and looked around, didn't see anybody looking down, like they lost something. Uh, $20 back in 1980 is worth $62.17 today.

1. If it isn't at Woodstock, whats the point?
2. If there are only a few bands from the original Woodstock, why pimp it as "Woodstock 50"?
3. Only young people go to these three day+ long festival shows, and they only go if there is EDM involved.
