BSL: Trying to arrange the Ravens Receivers

How the WR depth charts shakes out is anyones best guess, other than we have a real good idea who six guys will be, and Willie Snead will be near the top in whatever capacity he can. How splits out wide in the X, the Z, who gets the most slot time, that is TBD.

The Ravens ran a lot of tight formations last year, which I don't love, I think this was a problem in the SD game as the box got more crowded there was less space. 

 

But there could be formations where you have multiple slot-ish receivers this year. You could even show 221 personnel and then split Andrews all the way out wide in a bunch tight on the other side and let Brown and Snead or some other receiver work together, too. Or keep the X in the bunch tighter to let Brown work two ways there. 

 

I'm excited to see what Roman does. 

 

Allegedly, year 1 with Kaep, they came in a built the playbook around the plays and throws that worked on tape for him first and started there and in college. I'd imagine they'd do something similar.
