Today's lineup.  The question is will I get bored with it and go to sleep before the bottom 3 All Stars hit?

Hanser Alberto DH
Trey Mancini RF
Pedro Severino C
Renato Núñez 1B
Anthony Santander LF
Jonathan Villar 2B
Keon Broxton CF
Rio Ruiz 3B
Richie Martin SS

Gabriel Ynoa RHP

Well, I lasted 4 innings and the Orioles lasted about the same. A 3 run shot puts them down 4-0 and off I go.

Just checked the score and saw we went from two runs down to 14. Are we playing the Athletics or the Raiders?

Ynoa had a poor night...

Straily allowed 3 more homers in relief.

Yeah he's gotta go.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Even in a year where you’ve made it obvious you don’t care a single bit about winning - you just can’t justify continuing put Straily out on the mouand. Literally every arm in AAA and AA could out perform him at this point.

22 homers in 47.2 innings for Straily...  In 1975, Jim Palmer pitched 323 innings and only gave up 20 homers.

I am usually the guy that defends the player, but Strailly like others on this team is not a major league player.  His last two outings are incredibly bad, but he has been awful since he has been here.

At this point it is the optics of Strailly and others fail so miserably.   Change them, move on and give others a chance.

Hey look - there's hope!

The Orioles are 21-52. That’s the worst record - by four games - in all of baseball. Can anyone picture them making the playoffs? No? Me neither. The Blues were in the exact same position - last place in the league, through 45 percent of their schedule - and won the Stanley Cup.

The Orioles have a better chance of actually winning the Stanley Cup.

MIke B that was freaking hilarious!!!!

More records set last night too. O's (Tied or set) the record for most games allowing 5+ home runs in a game. So whether we tied it or set it gotta believe there will be some padding to that record by the time we get to game 162.

Thanks, I would rather laugh it off than stress over a lost cause.

Did Mancini just get hurt?  He came out of the game for Davis...  I assume that wasn't strategy or anything.

Strange thing is, Straily's numbers last year weren't all that bad. A 4.12 ERA in 122 IP, and he's just two years removed from a 14-win season with the Reds. I know the end can come fast in this game, but this is a tad quick even by baseball standards.
