The NBA is holding out all hope of finishing the season, so even a few guys shooting around in the gym, gives them a chance.

Interesting.  Some names in the wrong places.  Earl Monroe should be on the Bullet-Wizards.  The Big O probably should be on the Bucks.  Wilt more likely should be lined up with Philly.  He played 3 or 4 years with the Philadelphia Warriors, then another 3 or 4 with the Philadelphia 76ers.   To see him on Golden State looks strange.

Found this interesting.  9 of the top NBA Stars held a conference call to discuss restart of season, or basically the playoffs.

No one invited Harden.  Chris Paul must feel the same way, Jordan and others did about Isiah Thomas

I don't think the NBA could say no to that gem of an arena that we have down town.

It would be interesting if Seattle finally got the team they deserve because of a pandemic.

I am still surprised they are planning on a late July start.

If they try to finish the season, it would take them through October.  I guess they would start the next season around January.

I like some of the ideas for playoffs this year, but don't like the World Cup playoff set up for a normal year.

The NBA is going to play games in July and August

The other interesting thing is Silver wanting to put his stamp on the playoff structure.

All the commisioners seem to want to mess with tradition.

I like the World Cup format with the caveat that I like the idea of the top 4 teams actually drafting who ends up in their group.

I don't like the idea of random groups. You could do a more fair approach without the draft as well. The draft would be spicy though!

I don’t get why anything has to change.

You can determine if you want to play the last few games or not but otherwise, why change anything outside of the idea of changing the length of the early series, if you don’t want the playoffs dragging out too long?
