Meniscus surgery today for Zion, out 6-8 weeks.

Christmas I guess will be the first time we see him.

That sucks. He really has a chance to be one of the best rookies this century, but health is holding him back.

He probably still wins rookie of the year as long as he plays 55ish games for whatever that's worth.

Really sucks. Also, so much of the National TV schedule was built around him, really disappointing.

So fired up for the season to start. I’ll toss some predictions out tomorrow.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Are the Clippers not the favorites? Found it interesting that the Lakers are favored tomorrow night. Looking forward to it.

Paul George isn’t playing and the Clippers may hold Kawhi out for rest

If they are healthy, the Clippers would probably be my favorite once the playoffs start. But as for the regular season, I think they could finish as low as a #3 or even #4 seed.

I like Indiana to be a bit better, maybe as good as the 4th or 5th seed...  guess it depends on when Oladipo gets back. Should be Dec / early Jan.

I think the news (GS doesn't expect him back this year) on Klay Thompson today was a good strategy from them. They avoid the regular asking of, "When is he getting back?" They let him continue to work on his own schedule.  If he gets back, and he looks like Klay... and they sneak in as the 8th seed, that isn't going to be a lot of fun for the 1 seed.

I think NO probably misses the playoffs now that Zion is out 6-8 weeks.

I'd expect Denver to finish as a top 3 seed. How good is Porter?

Like the Clippers to win it all over the 76ers.

Rooting for the Hawks (3 Terps).

Think the Knicks probably do miss the playoffs even in the East, but think they'll be non-horrible.

Curious to see how good (consistently) Siakam can be. That was a ridiculous performance in Game 1 of the Finals.

Brooklyn is interesting to me. They thrived on 2nd tier guys busting their ass and playing like a team. Irving great 1x1 offensive player, but I'm of the opinion he's not a great teammate... and I'm interested to see how that plays out.

Kind of excited to see what the Jazz look like. Think Conley helps a lot.

How does Hayward look this year? Are they a better 'team' without Irving? I think so. No Horford makes things much tougher though.

GS missing the playoffs wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Be very interesting to see how Russell does this year.

Didn't catch any Basketball last night, but looking at the boxscores this morning and seeing Danny Green lit it up!!

The Leonard guy seems pretty good too.

Lebron had one of the worst offensive games that I have seen him have.  For normal players, it would have been okay, but not for Lebron.

And yes Leonard is real good at basketball.
