In the Line of Fire is Clint Eastwood’s best movie.

The worst take on here by far is that Scorsese makes crappy movies. LOL

You spelled Wes Anderson wrong.

(I actually really like some of his movies but that’s not how hot takes work right?)

Royal Tenenbaums and Grand Budapest Hotel are both excellent.

I think Rushmore is a bit overrated by the masses

If it is, I’ll switch back. In the mean time I’m good saving $150 or so a month using Vue. H/t Bob Phelan

If that's because it actually comes down in price due to competition, good. All anyone really wants is lower cost and more choice.

I want the ability to pay by channel. That’s all. Don’t give me a bunch of stuff I have zero interest in ever watching

I think the next pay-TV outlet to hit it big is going to be the one that gives you a basic plan, $40-50 per month, that is basically the OTA networks plus 25 non-premium channels of your choice---not packages like "sports" or "lifestyle", not basic vs. basic-plus, total choice. I would be shocked if the average person ever watched more than 25 channels on a regular basis.

I think everything will be subscriptions within 10 years. NBC is pulling The Office off of Netflix because they will their own streaming platform. Isn’t Disney doing the same? HBO go, Showtime, a host of other streaming services. Streaming services are also doing weekly shows now instead of straight binge shows.

Pretty much your cable bill will be 10 smaller bills depending on what you want to stream. TV probably reverts to an updated version of old school antennas so you get your local channels and live whatever on those channels. But if you want ESPN, you’ll pay $10 a month for ABC streaming. If you want Golf Channel, NBC Sports, you’ll pay $10 for NBC streaming. Turner will have their own subscription for TNT, TBS, Tru TV...probably bumped up to $20 in March. World Cup, MLB playoffs on FS1? Better get FOX streaming for $15 a month. And don’t think you’ll just dip in and out of services based on season. I’m sure they will. E ripe with contracts and termination fees.

Cable companies don’t care about the consumer anymore. It used to be you could call Comcast, say your switching to direct TV for a better rate and they would work with you to make your bill work. Now they are like “sorry to see ya go. Buh bye.” Because so many people rely on internet, that cost will just go up. Internet plus theee streaming services, might as well just have cable.

Once some genius closes the loophole where you share passwords so 17 friends across the country share Netflix....that’ll get everyone’s attention.

Don’t make me pay for a bunch of things that have no use to me.

I don't completely disagree with you.

However, there's value in people becoming more well rounded in terms of skills, knowledge, philosophy, and experience.

Obviously it's lost on some, though.

Ocean City is one of the best beaches in America.

Siesta Key is obviously the best but when the weather is good and the ocean is in the right mood OCMD tough to beat.

Also, West Coast beaches are overrated. Water is too cold.

And this doesn’t have anything to do with crowds, prices, etc. this is about the beach only.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?
