I wonder if they will have all the Disney movies on it?  Even the original stuff like Dumbo, Snow White, etc...?

I think that’s the plan along with shows based on Marvel and Star Wars.

It’s why Netflix has been canceling all their Marvel shows.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Remember in the 90s Disney used to have those ad campaigns to buy their videos before they were “locked in the vault forever”?

Now you can literally watch any Disney movie you want whenever you want lol.

Yeah this is a must have for anyone with kids. $7 a month or $70 for a year is a great deal too.

Yeah that's what they announced the other day. The ONLY movies they won't have out of the gate are a couple that are on expiring deals other places, but once those run out they'll pull them back in too.

I think that's part of the Marvel Netflix batch too, something about the contract and a time limit, because they've all but come out and said we are bringing them back. They did announce Loki, WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier though.

Here's the FULL list:

I was hoping all the Marvel Studios movies would be available. There are some that I'd watch if they're free, or part of a service. I gotta say, if those movies aren't available, I won't have any use for their service, based on that list.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

They are, except for one or two, whichever go to Netflix here in the next couple months, they will have a run there, and THEN come over. Everything old, and everything from Captain Marvel on will go straight to Disney day 1.

Problem is that watching movies on most streaming services, the audio is over compressed and lacks the punch it has on Blu-ray. I watched The Matrix on Amazon Prime video recently and the audio was garbage. Netflix has solid audio. But nothing will compare to the A/V you get with Blu-ray.

Comes out in less than a week.

I think this is a must-have. There is just soooo much stuff on it.

Signed up for a year at $60. Gonna binge The Mandalorian immediately then hopefully get the kids to use it as their go to instead of bad Netflix shows and Full House on Hulu.

I was telling my son about it tonight. We saw a commercial for a new Lady and the Tramp (“real life” one) that is premiering on this service.

His eyes got so big when I told him what will be on there.

Suffice it to say, I think this will be on at our house all the time. (Probably to the point where it will be too much and they will get pissed when we take it away)

I thought I read that they won't be releasing all the episodes at once like Netflix, but rather one per week like a network series. I could be misremembering that though.

Either way, The Mandalorian is what got me interested in Disney+, but seeing their library has me sold.

Can you do month-by-month? I want to watch The Mandalorian but that's it. I don't want to spend $60 or whatever.

Yeah it's like 6.99 if you want the base package. 12.99 for Hulu and ESPN+ too. Verizon has some promo where you can get a year free, but I'm not sure of terms.

Yeah it may be week to week which I’m ok with. New trend seems to be release 2-3 episodes right away and then weekly after that.
