Opening Round Thoughts:

Portland and OKC should be a fun series. Would have been really good had Portland not lost Nurkic.

I feel like the Spurs could possibly beat Denver.

I like the Jazz, but would be pretty surprised if they beat Houston.

Indiana has played with some pride since losing Oladipo, but I'd be disappointed if Boston didn't end that series fairly quickly.

I think the Nets are a great story given where they were a few years ago, but want to see Philly control things. Do see Embiid looks to be out Game 1. Can the 76ers ever get their full roster on the floor together game after game?

Overall thoughts...

I didn't think Houston could beat Golden State last year, and they certainly could have.

Still picking this Warriors team to win the title, but they feel a bit more vulnerable to me. Houston getting them in the 2nd round is possible. Past that though, I don't see anyone else in the West that could beat GS.  Have Denver in the WCF, but I think their at-least a year away until I could really believe in them.

Have Milwaukee winning the East, but really looking forward to hopefully seeing Milwaukee / Boston and Philly / Toronto.
Boston's underachieved, and Philly has 4 All-Stars. If either team turns it up a notch and wins the East, that wouldn't be surprising.

Raptors Anunoby has had an emergency appendectomy. That doesn't help, but Toronto is pretty strong.  A Kawhi / Giannis ECF would be fun.

Whoever wins the East is definitely capable of pushing Golden State.

Embiid did play today, but Brooklyn is still going to take Game 1. Pretty disappointing for Philly.

Philly loses, and so does Toronto... as Orlando wins Game 1 vs. the Raptors.

You can tell it is NBA play off time.  All the hand slapping and hugging between the teams has been replaced by pushing and jawing.

Pacers had to rally to get to 74.  they got some cheap run out baskets at the end.

Not offense at it's finest.  They shot 33.3% from the field, including 22.2% from 3, and 57.1% from the charity stripe.

Portland/OKC is a better game, but some of the widest 3 points shots are being put up, but not many going in.

It doesn't look like Utah can score enough to beat Houston.
