From reading an article in the Post Gazette, I don't think Garrett has formally appealed yet.. Pouncey and the Brown Clown that drilled Rudolph in the back, get their hearings this week.

My guess, is Garrett is waiting to see how those play out.

The NFL will meet with Garrett tomorrow ( 11/20/19 to hear the appeal.

Only saw the last part of Thursday's game, but I did not like the Colts' decision to go for it on 4th-and-7 from Houston's 47 on that final drive. They had three timeouts, plus the two-minute warning, with three minutes left in regulation.

Better to punt the ball to try and pin Houston back, use the timeouts, and hope for a three-and-out. Instead, they had to burn a timeout with the play clock running down, then came up a yard short on a scramble by Jacoby Brissett. Lousy decision compounded by even worse clock management.

ESPN: Inside the Rams-Chargers marriage as the NFL fights for Los Angeles

This is an extremely long read, but man, nobody comes out looking great.

Really, the most interesting bit may be about the St. Louis lawsuit, and how the NFL can't get it dropped like almost any other one they encounter.

ESPN:

The Saints have come back to life in their return to the Superdome after their stunning loss to Atlanta here two weeks ago. And they finally scored a TD on an opening drive — their first of the year on a 26-yard run by Latavius Murray. It required three big plays, though. Drew Brees had to scramble to find WR Ted Ginn Jr. open for a 30-yard pass on third-and-11. Earlier on the drive, Brees also hit Michael Thomas for 13 yards on third down.

Just saw something I've never seen before in the Pit/Cin game.  DE came untouched and grabbed Findley at the 1/2 yard line and tackled him in the end zone.  They first called safety and then reversed it saying Findley was first contacted outside of the end zone.  He wasn't down, he was just touched at the 1/2 yard line.  The actual takedown occurred a few yards into the end zone.  So now the QB gets the benefit of the doubt and is down right where he is first touched?  Yet if the DE hadn't tackled him he could run and the play would be alive.  Wow.  Just put the flags on QBs right now and do away with any physical contact on them.

Speaking of the Pit/Cin game, who is playing for Pittsburgh?  Mason Rudolph is the only name I recognize.  Maybe I just don't follow them close enough.  Some guys named Deon Cain and Tevin Jones are catching the ball, and somebody named Garret White is running the ball.  It's like watching a pre-season game.

ESPN:

Kyle Allen had to answer with a 14-0 deficit and he did with a 51-yard touchdown pass to DJ Moore, who was wide open. May be too much to ask Allen to keep pace with this New Orleans offense, but the play has to give a struggling offense and Allen some confidence. Up to the defense to find a solution to Drew Brees and company for Carolina to have a chance.

Steven Sims' 91-yard kickoff return for a touchdown was Washington's first such play since Andre Roberts ran one back 99 yards vs. Carolina almost four years to the day -- Nov. 22, 2015.

Rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins recovered from a first-drive fumble to lead the Redskins on a field goal drive. However, he was consistently long on his throws -- missing Terry McLaurin on throws because of this, including one for a wide open score in the end zone. Haskins did make some nice plays, running for 18 yards and hitting Kelvin Harmon for a nice gain. But Harmon needed to make a leaping one-handed catch. Haskins, though, has maintained his poise. He just needs to be more accurate.
