Would've been nice if Indy had lost. They should've. Denver handed them that game.

Didn't the NFL decree the drop kick isn't legal after Tucker's effort?

It's beautiful now, though. Took advantage and went out and cleaned the rain gutters. Goddamn trees. I'm as green as the next guy, but sometimes I have to agree with a neighbor of mine (a BG&E guy who restored power lines after storms). "The only good tree is a desk."

Want to make sure I have the slate cleared in time for tomorrow's Pittsburgh-Miami tingler.

You are obviously more ambitious than me.

I agree about the trees. I have about fifteen large ones around my house and leaf season is here and I hate it. I grew up in a row home in East Baltimore. Yard work consisted of rinsing the pavement after the dog mess was scooped up.

That Steelers Dolphins game is a must watch. Lol

Patriots beat the Browns 27-13.
Niners beat the Panthers 51-13.
Texans over the Raiders 27-24.

ESPN:

Panthers coach Ron Rivera won't have better timing to bring quarterback Cam Newton back than after Sunday's 51-13 loss to the Niners. This was embarrassing on all levels. Quarterback Kyle Allen wasn't the reason for this, but his three interceptions and lack of offense should make the transition back to Newton easy if the 2015 NFL MVP is healthy.

Effectively the Rams just traded a 5th round pick for ~4.25M in cap space (9/17ths of Talib's $8M salary).  Dolphins get that 5th round pick plus whatever Talib ends up counting for towards their comp pick math for 2021.  It's possible the "future draft pick" the Dolphins are sending to the Rams as part of this trade is conditionally dependent on Talib's round ranking in the comp pick cancellation chart.

Yeah, but to be fair every week is like that this year in the NFL.  They wanted a parity league but what they got was mostly a mediocre or worse league.  The NFL is made up of one elite team(Guess which one.....hint Initials include an N and an E), a few legitimately good teams(KC-with Maholmes, GB, SF, NO) another group of fair to good teams(Ravens in this one along with Indy, Dallas, Minn, Sea, and Car) and the rest average or below.  So it's fairly hard to have a lot of good matchups with so many teams that are only mediocre or worse.

So what you're saying is that, in a league with 32 teams, there are 11 above average teams, and everyone else is average or below?

And fairly bad. Should've lost for sure.
