People just go with the easy answer instead of doing a real analysis of things.

The Colts passed on 9 of their 12 plays on their opening TD drive. That was their 2nd-highest dropback rate on an opening drive this season, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Entering Sunday, the Colts had dropped back to pass on just 50 percent of plays on opening drives, which was tied for the 4th-lowest rate in the league.
49ers receiver Marquise Goodwin is being evaluated for a head injury. He was leveled in the middle of the field on the Niners' first possession and was slow to get up.
Matthew Stafford now ties Boomer Esiason for No. 23 on the all-time NFL passing touchdowns list with 247. Stafford connected with Marvin Jones (who spun out of a Trae Waynes tackle) to get free to the end zone for the 16-yard touchdown. That's Jones' second touchdown of the season and Stafford's 10th.
In the Redskins' first five games, Adrian Peterson never carried more than 12 times. On Sunday's first drive vs. the 49ers, he carried the ball eight times for 49 yards. The Redskins ran out of a variety of sets, including three times with a fullback. The Redskins ran six plays out of I-formation entering Sunday. They signed fullback Michael Burton earlier this week, hoping to add more diversity to the offense.

Dolphins lead at halftime over Bills in Buffalo, 14-9. Miami's last halftime lead... Dec. 2, 2018 in a Week 13 win over Buffalo. They led 14-6 at half of that game. Their last halftime road lead was Oct. 7, 2018 against the Bengals, over a full calendar year ago.
Bills fans once again booing the home team off the field headed into locker room at half. Dolphins defense making Josh Allen look bad. He's just 6-of-15 for 90 yards and a 60.4 QB rating against a Dolphins defense without Xavien Howard and Reshad Jones.

At halftime, the Texans trail 14-9, twice settling for field goals after starting a drive in Colts territory. Deshaun Watson has completed 11 of 15 passes for 128 yards, but the Texans have struggled to run the ball. Houston running backs Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson have combined for 20 yards on nine carries.

The Titans put together a nice drive to end the first half with a touchdown. Ryan Tannehill's decisiveness and AJ Brown's sure hands fueled the drive. Tannehill hit Corey Davis for the TD to tie the game at 10-10. The offense moved the ball well but the defense has to get better on third downs. The Chargers converted on five of their seven third down opportunities.
The Lions at a loss after what one Detroit player called an "embarrassing" defensive performance in a 42-30 loss to Minnesota.
The Redskins continue to perform poorly on third downs. They entered Sunday's loss to the 49ers ranked 31st both offensively and defensively on third down and they didn't help themselves today. The defense allowed seven-of-16 third downs to be converted; the Redskins converted just three-of-nine -- and were zero for one on fourth down. That's why they only ran 41 plays Sunday; the next lowest since total for a game since 2001 is 42 according to ESPN Stats & Information.
Just as everyone expected, the Saints-Bears game has been a battle of defense and special teams so far. The Saints took a 9-0 lead thanks to a blocked punt by safety J.T. Gray that resulted in a safety -- then a forced fumble by safety Vonn Bell that led to a touchdown. But the Bears quickly responded with a 102-yard punt return for a touchdown.
Dak Prescott has a 15-5 record against NFC East foes in his career and has a 4-2 record against the Eagles. He has seven touchdown passes but his six interceptions are the most against a division foe. In two division wins this season, he has seven touchdown passes and one interception.
Aaron Rodgers on his maximum 158.3 passer rating: "I still don't understand understand how they put that rating together, but it sounds pretty good."
The 49ers and, especially their defense, are built for any conditions. The Niners have seemingly found a different way to win every week so far this season but Sunday was probably their most difficult task. With torrential rains making points a precious commodity against Washington, the defense pitched a shutout and the Niners did just enough to walk away with their fourth straight road win and remain unbeaten through six games for the first time since 1990.

The Eagles failed on all fronts in the first against Dallas and trail 27-7. They were carved up for 111 yards on the ground, turned the ball over twice and were outgained 266-95. An alarmingly inept performance given the stakes.
Earl Thomas finished with five tackles and a victory in his return to CenturyLink Field. He was seen joking with Bobby Wagner postgame and swapped jerseys with Russell Wilson. Thomas and Pete Carroll walked by each other postgame without stopping or saying anything. Said Wilson: "I hold Earl in high regard, man. I really love him, just how much he's meant to my family, his family and everything else and ... also just to the Seahawks organization ... Earl's one of the best to ever do it."

Freaking Packers man. Since 1992 - coming up on 30 years, and pretty much the duration of my Viking fandom - they got to have 2 HOF QBs play for them. And Rodgers is only 35, he's probably got a good 5 years left if he wants them. I'm hoping he'll get bored/frustrated and call it quits soon. While everyone else is waiting for Brady to retire, I just want Rodgers to go away.
