DB Josh Shaw is the first player to be banned for betting on NFL games since Art Schlichter in 1983. He is suspended at least through the 2020 season.

ESPN:

The Redskins trail, 14-12, at halftime in a game they could now be winning -- but also one that appeared to be headed for an early blowout. After giving up touchdowns on Carolina's first two drives, the Redskins responded by shutting down back Christian McCaffrey. who had 27 of his 64 all-purpose yards on the opening drive. Quarterback Dwayne Haskins only has 87 yards passing, but has been more accurate. However, they blew a chance for more points at the end of the half.

ESPN:

Kyle Allen showed in the first half why there's still uncertainty in how effective he can be as an NFL starter. The Panthers quarterback started 8-for-8 with two touchdown passes. He then made 1 of his next 8 attempts and three of his final 11, including an interception that gave Washington an easy touchdown. The Panthers showed why they are an average football team, blowing a 14-0 lead and going into halftime with only a 14-12 edge.

If you didn't think the first half could be any worse than it was the last two games, you're really, really wrong. Nick Foles turned the ball over on the Jaguars' first three drives (INT, two fumbles) and the Jaguars trail the Bus 25-0 at the half. In addition to three straight turnovers, Foles and the offense finished the half with three consecutive three-and-outs. They have 105 yards of offense (Bucs have 250) and Nick O'Leary has more catches than DJ Chark.

Dolphins pulled out some of their best stuff in the first half with a punter-to-kicker TD and DeVante Parker turning into Randy Moss, but the Eagles are going into half up 21-14 as Carson Wentz chews up Dolphins pass D. The Dolphins still have plenty of fight & coach creativity left. But they are going to need more to beat Philly today.

ESPN:

Today Drew Lock will be the seventh quarterback to start a game for the Broncos since Week 9 of the 2017 season -- a span of 37 games including today's affair, or a different quarterback every 5.3 games.

Among Chiefs' inactive players, only RB Damien Williams (ribs) is for injury reasons. Otherwise, they're as healthy as they've been since early in the season. This is the first time the Chiefs have had all of their defensive players available since a Week 4 game against the Lions. Since then, a large number of defensive regulars have missed time, including Chris Jones, Frank Clark, Alex Okafor and Kendall Fuller. All will be available to play today for the first time in more than two months.

The Jets' loss was pathetic and historic. They became the first team in NFL history to lose twice in one season to teams with 0-7 records or worse. Bad coaching, bad playing, bad everything. One of the worst losses I've covered in 31 years.

Not at all scared of Pittsburgh and stoked to see a fork get stuck in Cleveland, what a joke they are.

I'd agree on both.  Will give Pittsburgh credit for not folding after losing Ben though.
They've had a respectable year considered.

One of Tomlin's best jobs IMO. But their fans largely want a new era.
