Deified-Dozen-2019-Week-7.jpg

https://www.baltimor...ll-week-7-poll/

Week 7 featured two big head-to-head games between members of the Deified Dozen, along with one shocking upset. The latter featured former #2 Georgia losing at home in OT to unranked South Carolina, dropping them all the way to #10. LSU got a big win over Florida and replaced the Bulldogs in the second spot, while the Gators fell to #11. Oklahoma knocked Texas out of the rankings, but only moved up one spot to #5. Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Penn State all got wins over quality opponents to solidify their positions and stay in the running for the College Football Playoff. Finally, Oregon returned to the Dozen for the first time since preseason, coming in at #12.

Week 8 is much lighter on marquee matchups, with the aforementioned Ducks facing the biggest challenge when they travel to Seattle to face their longtime border rival, Washington. #9 Penn State will host Michigan, who are just outside the Top 12 in many polls. South Carolina has a chance to knock of a second member of the Dozen in as many weeks when they host Florida.

You tend to have a game like that every year. You just have to overcome issues and figure out a way to win.

Clemson found a way vs UNC...Wisky couldnt today. Georgia couldn’t last week.

Oregon finds a way and survives vs. Washington. Great game.

I've got Penn St tonight, but am never disappointed to be wrong there if that's the way it goes. Hoping it's close late.

Texas trailing the Jayhawks at home, 17-14 late in the 1st half. PSU up early 7-0 on Michigan and their awful offense. Utah beating Arizona St 14-0 early in the 3rd.

PSU with a huge pick, and now can basically end this game with a score here. They look dominant. Michigan just can't get anything going on offense.

And they do just that with a beautiful throw and catch for their 3rd TD. About to be 21-0 Penn St. Gross. Michigan going to have a very interesting offseason.
