I think we win and Ward not being there is a huge factor. He killed us the first game.

Yea, can not wait for Sunday.   It will be interesting to see if the place is [packed and noisy like it used to be.

I don't go to many games, but I'll be there.  Forecast (currently) is no rain so hopefully that helps.

Been so long since we had a home game I forgot I could do that.

However, I can't see how much they're charging for the Wild Card round game. I've never been thrilled about the way the payment page is set up for Ravens.com

1st rd games are usually a little more than double reg season. Its the championship game ones that are crazy prices.

I watched the LA game with Gabe and told him I thought that I didn't see a formula that night of them getting to 20 points and that I was confident in our team.

I feel equally good about this game. To me it's going to come down to the pass rush. Are we able to contain Mayfield? Are we able to get pressure rushing 4 and 5 guys? If so, we're going to be really hard to beat. Now can they scheme that up? Maybe...

I'm a little more concerned about this game because the Browns have been using a lot of weird stuff to be successful to this point. Ultimately, that means we need to keep balance and back side contain, we need to not over pursue, and we need to stay in our run fits. If we do that, I think we'll be just fine. But if we get burned on some reverse motion type stuff like we did in the Carolina game it could come undone quickly. The weak side end play is going to be important this week, IMO.

So if the Ravens miss the playoffs, they would be the first team since 1970 to be #1 in yardage allowed and #1 in points allowed to miss the playoffs.

So.....better win on Sunday. I’m not counting on the Bengals.

If they end up #1 in both categories, it’s not likely they lose the game...unless the teams behind them also have shitty games.

They likely have a stronghold on yardage, 220 up on Buffalo. But points could go either way. Only 7 up on 2nd and 10 up on 3rd. It would take losing while allowing something like 13 or less maybe.

I have more nerves about this game than the Chargers game.

I dunno, man. It's not because of any analysis, or schemes, or anything...something just feels off.

Maybe it's just gas. I did have a lot of spinach.

I feel the exact same way.  Just this vague, something lurking around a dark corner kind of anxiety.  I think what worries me more than anything is Cleveland has nothing to lose with this game.  They can just let it fly, have fun and if they lose, so be it.  The best case scenario is for the Ravens to get out to a 10 or 14 point lead early, enforce their will on Mayfield and get him to start making mistakes as most rookies do in that situation.  This might be one game where if they win the toss, maybe Harbaugh should give his team the ball to start the game.

Let's go.

Expecting a fight.  Would be nice to come out and deliver a couple of blows early.

On my way downtown. Let’s go!!!

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Today is the 60th anniversary of the "Greatest Game Ever Played." During Sunday's game, we're going to honor members of that 1958 Baltimore Colts NFL Championship team.

Jets and Jags are both rolling over. Barring two miracle comebacks, Ravens chance at a bye will be eliminated.

Playing for a division title and a home playoff game.

Only way we get in with a loss is if the Steelers also lose.

If we tie, we can win the division if the Steelers tie or get a wild card if the Colts-Titans game is a tie.
