Are you more, less, or the same amount of pessimistic about this Sunday than you were say, a month ago?

I am less pessimistic. But hard for me to predict a Ravens win here. I thought a month ago this would be no contest. 40+ to 20 or less. But I think the line is about right at Chiefs by a TD. Meaning a timely turnover or Special teams play on our side could flip the game in our favor. If they don’t force KC into mistakes it will be hard to win. Even more reason to need Marlon blanketing a receiver out there.

It's the NFL, most games are close.  I think a month ago I said 20% chance.  Now I'd say I'm more optimistic (Hunt out, Ravens playing better), but same general take.

KC a quality team at home, they should be favored, but I've always thought the Ravens would have more than a punchers chance here.

Avoid the turnovers, and should be a 4th Quarter game.

Less pessimistic.

The defense has played fantastic in recent weeks. That gives me more hope. I still expect a loss, but I think we've got a better shot than I did a month ago.

Same as I was. Thought they would be 7-5. People have been overrating the schedule for a while.

More optimistic they win this game because Hunt and Watkins are out and Jefferson won’t be there to cover Kelce.

I got a weird feeling about this game.

Not that they win, but this has a "Ravens loss to the Patriots in 2007" feel to it. I think they lose at the end on a sudden defensive breakdown.

Pat Mahomes has more passing TDs this year (41) than the Ravens do in the last two seasons combined (39).

Yikes.

The monster has been looming in the shadows for weeks and now it's time to finally face him.  Yes, it is scary and don't think "Wink" has been sleeping too well lately.  I don't know what the record is for most rushes in a game in Raven history but tomorrow might be a good time to break it.

Haven't seen anything official yet on Flacco's availability for today. But analysts this morning are questioning whether Lamar Jackson can keep up with the Chiefs offense. Not a word about Flacco.

Maybe they know something we don't and Flacco will be inactive, or not start if he is active.

Sammy Watkins is out for KC

Eric Berry not expected to play either, per Ian Rapaport.

Good news

Also think we see Hurst back at LG. Could be our best Oline out there today.

Hurst excelled at pulling last year..see if that becomes something significant today.

Chiefs' HC Andy Reid said this week that he expects Baltimore to use both quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson and Joe Flacco, today against KC. Flacco looked good at practice this week, and is likely to be Ravens' No. 2 QB today.

I think it'd be great if Joe is healthy and we can use both QBs. I think that is our best chance to win. I'm pretty excited about that idea. Very curious to see the inactives come out.

It’s the best way to go.

My apprehension is about the Oline. Does playing 2 totally different QBs bother them?

Tim Williams.  Man, hoped he was going to take a leap this year.  Disappointing.
