Smith is going to get torched today.  He interfered with Jones and Jones still made the catch.

Like I said, this defense sucks. They’ll get lit up today. No way Falcons score less than 30 today.

If we go with the idea that they 'suck', while simultaneously being as good as any..... what does that say about the NFL in 2018?

Rules too far slanted to the offense... and the wild offensive numbers these guys are putting up shouldn't be compared to outputs from prior generations.  Different games.

Timeout Atlanta. Defense kept changing the alignment and he kept changing plays until he ran out of time.

Let me know when a DB doesn’t get torched by Julio.

Yeah, every time Weddle moved he changed the call, and Weddle kept moving up and back... :)

Humphrey on Ridley. Bama vs. Bama

Nice confusion by the D there. Showed blitzed, only rushed 3, Ryan still rushed the throw.

Holding them to three feels like a victory.

Agree.  Money spent on the offense has more value than money spent on the defense.  You can have a great defense and if your offense is only average, you are only an average team.  Think Baltimore, Minnesota, Denver.  But if you have a great offense, even with a mediocre defense you are a top tier team.  Think KC, LA, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, New England.

Still think there are multiple ways to build teams.

Right now defenses are trying to figure out how to cover 11 guys vs. 10.

As defenses get lighter at LB, and you get more Nickle and Dime packages.... a power running team, with a downhill back like Jamal was would have a lot of success imo.

He’s going to get torched because he gave up a 6ish yard completion where he had him covered very well?
