It's one thing for Lamar Jackson to make the throws, make the right reads/decisions and take care of the ball. But one of his biggest challenges is going to be getting the offense in and out of the huddle in a timely manner.
Jackson has admitted on several occasions that the verbiage of the plays has been one of his biggest adjustments. To combat that, he's stood near offensive coaches on sideline during games and said play call aloud as it's relayed to Flacco. He'll need to be quick/assertive today.
You can’t be a moron and be an NFL QB. This is pretty disheartening to hear. Hope this isn’t a big issue.
I mean, I think he meant adjustment because he didnt have to call a 20 word play call in a huddle on college. Hes going from basic language to what should be considered a foreign language in a year. I imagine if you tried to learn a new language it would be a wake up call to you and you'd find it a bit overwhelming at first as well. I'm sure you don't consider yourself a moron.
