Katherine Terrell ESPN

Bengals make it official that Teryl Austin is no longer defensive coordinator. Marvin Lewis said in a statement: "I appreciate the hard work that Coach Austin has put into our football team, but I felt it best to make a change at this point in time, and I wish him the best. I will be coordinating the defense from here on out and I am excited to do that. This football team has a real chance to get back to playing winning football so we can compete for the playoffs, and that is our sole focus."

Marvin Lewis hopeful AJ Green could play.

If he does  I can't see him being 100%. Probably be used as more of a decoy.

I don't think Flacco or Green will play, but we shall see.

I am going to the game but sitting elsewhere in my section.

Thus, I have two for sale -- section 523, row 19 (approx 15 yard line on Ravens side of field)

Face is $92 but if you want to make an offer I'll probably accept lol.

Let me know.

Jackson didn't practice today. Stomach issue. Wow. Talk about bad timing. Lamar getting butterflies?

RG3 time? If we get swamped, wonder if Harbaugh gets canned?

Sounds like Jackson missed practice due to an illness. Still not good, but not usually something that causes someone to miss a game.

Supposedly a stomach ailment.  I have felt all week, that if Joe can not go, Harbs would find reasons to start RG3.   I think he just got it.

Interesting Jackson had a stomach ache and could not practice, but was able to play in the snow, with Hayden Hurst.

Jackson back at practice, Flacco still sidelined. Looking more like LJ will start.

Jeff Z:

It's one thing for Lamar Jackson to make the throws, make the right reads/decisions and take care of the ball. But one of his biggest challenges is going to be getting the offense in and out of the huddle in a timely manner.

Jackson has admitted on several occasions that the verbiage of the plays has been one of his biggest adjustments. To combat that, he's stood near offensive coaches on sideline during games and said play call aloud as it's relayed to Flacco. He'll need to be quick/assertive today.

You can’t be a moron and be an NFL QB. This is pretty disheartening to hear. Hope this isn’t a big issue.
