Hollywood Brown. At least this time we drifted the WR that was already injured.

The only way to end the funk of drafting WR is to actually draft them.  So I'm very cool with this decision.  Especially like that all the WR in the draft were available and the Ravens got the guy they thought was the best.

Oklahoma seemingly has become our new Alabama.

Brown, Brown and Andrews.

Let’s hope DeCosta can break the stigma. Brown panning our would be a good stamp to differentiate the two eras.

Hensley:

Ravens selected wide receiver with the No. 25 overall pick Marquise Brown, giving Lamar Jackson a much-needed playmaker on the outside. Brown is the most explosive offensive weapon in this year's draft and immediately upgrades one of the most suspect receiver groups in the NFL.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

A lot of ways to use Brown in this offense outside of catching the ball. Then consider what he can do when you do get the ball to him through the air. I like it.

Colts trade #26 to Redskins.

Next Washington pick is #46, difference of 260 points.  My guess is either 2020 2nd or 2019 3rd (#76) and 5th (#153).

EDIT:  It's the 2020 #2.

Man was I wrong about where the receivers would be drafted. I think my Bradbury  dream isn't happening. If any of the three receivers are at 22, I think they take one.  :-|

Not at 22, but nailed it.

Anyone think there is a nonzero chance the Ravens trade the 2020 #1 and get back into the end of this first round?

I'd say no...but looking for an excuse to crack another beer.

If they were able to trade up to around 35, they could try and pair Hollywood with a big body and quality blocker like N'Keal Harry.

If they were able to trade up to around 50, they could try and pair Hollywood with even more speed with someone like Parris Campbell, or a big jump ball type in Miles Boykin.

You've got multiple needs, so I'm good with whatever...  but I do kind of like the idea of trying to add multiple weapons.

Seems like you have the draft capital to move if you want.

What would it take to move to 50?

2020 2nd and #113.

#85 and #102 doesn't even get us into the 2nd based on points.

If they did, figure it would be for McCoy if he was still there.

Gonna suck waiting until 3/4 of the way through tomorrow before we pick...but the Ravens have picks #85, 102, 113, 123, and 127.  Gonna be a lot of chances to get decent players.  Ravens haven't found many stars in the 3rd/4th rounds lately, but it does feel like we've found a good number of solid players.
