It's a real light beer... only 4.5 ABV, but I've enjoyed Heavy Seas' Smooth Sail Summer Ale...

http://www.hsbeer.co...brew/smoothsail

The other light beer I've been drinking is Big Wave from Kona Brewing...
https://konabrewingco.com/our-beers

Frankly both are like water, but good on a hot day.

So far this summer I haven't been straying too far from the sour section @ Total Beverage.  With the heat wave, the sours are really doing it for me.  Had a good dinner at Franklin's in Hyattsville over the holiday-they had a couple on tap (great beer menu there!)

Porch Rocker is my favorite big brewer summer beer these days...

Bleacher Beer from Flying Dog is a good summer thirst quencher.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Founders Gold

4.4% lager that's perfect for the Summer.  Of course a lager is good anytime of year.

Maine Beer Company Woods & Waters is phenomenal, and pricey, $7 for a larger bottle. Worth it though https://www.mainebee...m/woods-waters/

Cigar City Guayabera Citra Pale Ale https://cigarcitybre...fied=a9938e254b

Both available at the Wine Source

You guys should try Coors Light

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Get the whole beer snob thing... if you like Coors, more power to you... my Dad was a Silver Bullet guy for years too.

But there are so many beers to try...  Know you went to the Phoenix in EC a lot...  they had a nice beer list... what was your go to there?

Coors Light lol.

I actually finished their beer list over one summer.  My name is on a plaque on the wall and everything.

I actually don't dislike differing beers, but I think beer snobs are some of the worst people around.

Yea it was a confluence of events that led me to do it in one summer. I had studied for/finished the bar and didn’t get results till November so I was free. My other buddy was unemployed. My other buddy worked one 24 hour shift every fourth day. So we basically had a lot of time to drink lol

Do you prefer Coors Light over Natty Light?  I assume you do but I didn't know if this was a thing where you got into the Coors routine and just stay with it.

I do. I was a Bud Light guy in college. Never really considered Coors.

1.Miller
2.Coors
3.Bud

I thought this was a near consensus on the big 3 light beers
