If GS is fully healthy, Toronto isn't close to them. 5 game series at best.

Maybe. Certainly was some chemistry and motivation issues with the Warriors and their style of play can bog down with Durant.

Toronto could have pushed them like Houston had this year and last.

Yep... but their defense is also better...and they are, of course, deeper.

Bottom line is this....who else on Toronto (besides Kawhi of course) do you feel good about having a good game every night?

I don't feel that about any of their players outside of Leonard.  Its not that they don't have good players but to beat a team like GS, you need 1-2 other top level performances every night and Toronto, while they have guys capable of it, doesn't have the consistency there to do it.

GS would wipe the floor with them if they are healthy.

And btw, I say that and this is likely the best "team" they have faced in the finals.  I just think GS is that good.

Eh, I think this Toronto team is at least as good as Houston was this year, and the Warriors didn't wipe the floor with them.

Toronto may not have a guy you can count on to consistently be a good second option, but they do have several guys that are quite capable of putting up 20.

They're also an excellent defensive team, although Kawhi is a little limited due to his own injury.

The thing is, even if they are as good as Houston, that doesn't mean they are as tough a matchup for GS.  Houston knows GS better.  They play a lot like them.  They spread you out...dont use much in terms of big guys.  And while Paul isn't the player he was, he is still a more consistent #2 than anything the Raptors have.

They have a unique style about them.

Looney is done for the rest of the series.

Sounds like it’s relatively minor for Klay..should be able to play in G3.

Durant is out for game 3 while Klay is questionable.

Do you sit Klay in game 3?  You figure if you sit him, you lose but sounds like he would be good for game 4 and Durant likely back for game 4 it seems.

Do you risk Klay getting hurt worse even if it means losing the game?

That's a tough call.  (I don't think it matters, he's playing but its an interesting thought)

Your right....tough call in basically a best of 5 now,  I think, I would roll the dice and play him.  I think Toronto is real good, and not sure a hurt GS can win 3 of 4.

Apparently he said something along the lines of if he has pain, he probably will sit.

I think it’s more likely Klay sits than plays tonight.

Saw that too.  If he sits, it is a MUST win for Toronto.

They will really load up on Curry.

And he wants to play.  I'd try and go without tonight.   Have him that much better for 4 on.

What I don't think they should try and do tonight is have him 'somewhat' available.  Either play him, or don't.

Might be nice to have him available for a few key minutes, but think psychologically it would be better for the Warriors as a whole if they knew they had to do without.

I think playing him tonight is a dumb idea. I’ll never question his toughness but I trust the training staff over his desire to play

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Toronto up 24-14...  Curry has 12 of GS's 14.

GS unable to put together a run.

In the second quarter, they held Toronto scoreless for around 4 minutes but only scored 4 points.

They can’t string together stops and scores.
