Seth picks the Nats to the WS every year. At least to the NLCS. You'd think he'd learn with that franchise.

BTW the odds that the Nats do better than Dusty are very low. So while they should easily win the East, it wouldnt be shocking if they choked.

Well, the reality is that no team has had an easier path to the playoffs than DC has had the last several years. 3-4 teams in the division haven’t been good. So, they can pile up wins and get home field often.

Now, they obviously haven’t done well when getting in but the combo of ease to the playoffs and talent on the roster makes them an odds on favorite.

Agreed with Seth about Minnesota winning the Central. Which is also what I thought about in that CLE/BOS/NYY/HOU being locks thread. Reality is, I think both Minnesota and Cleveland are locks. Going to be a very thin margin for error for WC2 this season, IMO. And it will take more wins than normal to win that spot in '18. Only two ALE teams are making the playoffs... so Baltimore better hope they offer achieve, and one of Boston and New York greatly underachieves. I don't see it. But I'm going to enjoy the ride.

That's half the point of WC2... isn't it?
