If you haven't had your fill of the latest Star Wars film, Disney is releasing Solo: A Stars Wars Story, a Ron Howard directed, on a short turnaround of May 25, 2018. Unlike Rogue One which was released December 10, 2016. Rumor of trailer coming soon.

There was a poster up for it in the theatre where I saw the Last Jedi.

That will be a big month...I’m assuming the new Avengers movie comes out the first weekend of May.

Why would Disney cannibalize The Avengers tail like that?

Word on the street is that the guy they hired to play young Han sucks.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Fans are going to hate him either way.  I saw something that we'd prefer Harrison Ford just pretending he was young in the movie more than anyone else, and I can't say that I disagree.

Check out Anthony Ingruber. Played a young Ford in a movie before. Seems like a perfect opportunity to cast a young Solo.

I liked the guy they cast in Hail Caesar, I’ll give him a fair shake.

It looks better than I expected.  I dunno, I'm trying to remain hopeful.

I have a feeling it's gonna be a great movie.  however, if the reports are true about the dude playing Han, I may throw up.  You can't F up a cult hero with shitty acting, or a guy for all that I can tell reminds me of a guy trying to act like Starlord in GOTG.

The latest trailer is getting me hopeful.  Maybe it'll be decent.

Read a review that included a spoiler, not mad about it and makes me want to see it a little bit more.

It's not great, the droid was particularly grating and stupid (despite giving nod to one of the more interesting rarely discussed issues with that universe).  Interesting to see what they kept from the 'legends' canon.  It's watchable.

I saw this movie with my kids Friday.  I thoroughly enjoyed it!  I wasn't crazy about Lando's droid, but other than that, i thought the acting was fine, I like what they did with this.  It all works, even the Kessel run, which was not a unit of TIME, but a DISTANCE.  12 parsecs was a shortcut vs. an amount of time to complete the kessel run.  Some were confused about that...Donald Glover was easily the most believable as his character, Alden Ehrenreich was actually pretty solid in his role as Han Solo.  In the end, I'm glad I saw it and I will see it again!
