Tigers missed his 17th cut yesterday.  That's as many as Rory has in his career.

Justin Thomas has 24 missed cuts.

Are you shocked that he is going to finish around 11th this week? He was +8 on 15-17 this week...-8 the rest of the course.

Just needs to stay healthy and keep playing. He can easily play with the “kids” if he stays healthy.

Tiger was 2nd in the tournament in driving distance. 1st in proximity to the hole after approach shots. Will wind up about 11th on a challenging course.

Stayed healthy after 10 straight rounds. Pretty big achievement for him.

4 weeks to The Masters. If he can stay healthy he can be a factor there.

The back to back weeks is key for him..didn’t make the cut last week but still, he played and practiced and played a lot of rounds in a short period of time.

He was third in driving distance for the tourney.

Had the fastest club head speed in 3 of the 4 rounds.

Bodes well for how well his back is feeling right now.

For the first time, I really had an appreciation for getting to watch Tiger play golf.  I've always been a huge fan but it's amazing that we are basically getting to watch Muhammaed Ali or Babe Ruth play.

Sure we get to watch Tom Brady and Lebron play.  But I don't think it's going to be a long time before we get another Tiger Woods.

Nope...He's the GOAT.

We have forgotten his greatness because its been 10 years....but he was incredible to watch.

The idea that he can finish in 12th place in a major tourney after really not playing for over a year is amazing.

Yes. Whats the argument for Tiger over Jack. Someone that thinks Tiger is #1 should be the one making a case. Not the other way around.

Jack's obviously got the better resume.  18 majors are 4 more than Tiger and, more insane IMO, he also had 19 runner-ups.

I'm not making this argument, but I think the argument for Tiger would be that the competition he faced was much deeper and better than what Jack faced.  I think Jack likely had better top-level competition than Tiger did, the two or five guys right behind Jack were better than the two or five guys right behind Tiger for most of his career.  But the fields were so much deeper during Tiger's era, the hundredth best guy was good enough to win any tournament if he had a good week.  I don't know for sure, but I doubt that was the case during Jack's era.

They are the only two guys in the conversation, IMO.
