Have to believe Pagano will be back. I'd hope Marty would retire and we can promote Roman.

If he leaves.... ?
2) Pagano if he's fired.

So like 6 weeks later, we're not interpreting the words of a guy after a really bitter loss as his announcement of his swan song?
I wonder if Tony hears something, otherwise, this seems more like noise than any real indication of anything.
This secondary is perfect for Pees scheme, I frankly don't see him going anywhere.

If he does leave though, Rex, Pagano, Marvin Lewis if he gets the long overdue send off.

Without any indication of what "word has surfaced that Pees will retire" means or where that "word" came from, I'm dismissing this as speculation. Not even a rumor. If a follow up describes the source in more detail, maybe it'll be worth paying attention to and speculating on a potential replacement.

If the offense plays better down the stretch, MM will be back. Remember, Flacco wanted him here last offseason. I doubt they make a move unless the offense goes back into its shell.

The timing of this seems weird to me. Could certainly be possible, but I couldn't care less until it happens.

And Kubiak is my choice no matter how we finish

This was posted on the Sun forum. Thought it was worth posting here:
I like this article from before the season, and specifically this quote:
If the defense falters, the blame should be placed on Pees, not the players. A defense shouldn’t continue to give up leads at the end of the game when the team has spent the last two years bringing in elite defensive backs and drafting pass rushers in the first three rounds. At some point the coaches need to be held responsible.
The defense doesn’t need to be perfect, but fans shouldn’t have to get anxious about their ability to hold a lead during the fourth quarter. They should be able to hold up their end of the bargain after all of the resources that have been spent on that unit. If it can’t, then the Ravens should move on from Pees and find someone that can better utilize the wealth of talent Baltimore has built up.
So when does the sky start falling, Deany Boy?

This game and the Jacksonville game were certainly Pees worst of the year. And they seemed to use a similar attack to beat us in both, IMO.
I seem to remember Carr getting burned a few times on a press one on one by Lee (?) in that game without Cover 2 help. They also abused Jefferson in man to man situations. The offense just managed to show up for this game...
I wouldn't hesitate or be upset if they let Pees go. But I do think we could do worse.

Lombardi brings this up AGAIN. He must have heard this somewhere...not even said in a speculative tone.
But Marty’s play calling was nowhere near as bad as that of Dean Pees who THANKFULLY is retiring at the end of the season.

Please be true. Maybe we'll get lucky and actually get a real coordinator instead of the bum Belichick let have an arbitrary title for a few seasons.
