I don't know where this is going, but its wild.   I still can't get over the "Robert Ford" thing though.

What's the 'Robert Ford thing'? Also anyone know how many episodes this season? Typical HBO ten? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did that ending disprove the Jimmy Simpson is Ed Harris 30 years ago theory? Also was that a host or a guest that she shot and killed? Is the point that she broke her programming about never pulling the trigger or that she used a hidden 'real' gun? Liking the show more and more.

Killed another host.  Still can't harm guests yet, it's why that guy bashed his face in with the rock instead of hurting the tech girl.

Perhaps Ford cowardly killed (or "killed" if he's still alive) his partner Arnold.

There's some pretty wild theories floating around this show (must be part of the reason I'm enjoying it so much).  One of the big ones asks if Bernard is actually an android and is inhabited by Arnold's consciousness.

So Bernard's a robot right?

Also apparently if you create the park (Ford) you have cheat codes to freeze the "game" whenever you want.

Loved Logan's line about uncovering an easter egg

Also I wanted to point out that Elsie the tech worker at the park is subtly cute.

I'm really enjoying this show so far.

All of the technical things about it are amazing.  Visuals, sets, action, music, and acting.  Hope they can keep delivering an interesting story.  So far, I'm very interested in trying to figure out what's going on.

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I really like the theory that we are watching two timelines unfold simultaneously.

If Bernard's a robot, why would he get an ex-wife that he checks in with and a dead kid? I think the whole point of that scene was to show-splain why human emotions are important and underscore what robots are missing in that regard. If he's a robot I'd be disappointed. Now, someone behind the scenes could be for sure. Maybe even Ford himself. But I don't think Bernard is. Curious to hear your reasoning though.

It's all part of his "back story".  There's been plenty of mention of how a back story helps ground the robots and makes them appear more life like.  Then there's the almost identical line that both Dolores and Bernard about dealing with loss.

The pain, their loss — it’s all I have left of them,

See I interpreted them using the same line as showing a commonality between them in spite of how one is a robot and one is not. In fact I think the point of that line was to show the development of Dolores into a 'more human' version of herself, by showing how similarly she is dealing with loss. It will be interesting to see as this progresses which of us is right!

Who in the world has intimate fantasies about being with a robot!!? Seems to be the norm in shows and movies featuring robots these day. Robots should be up in arms in how they are portrayed.

Watched the first episode last night and I said to my wife, "I give it less than four episodes until a human has sex with a robot."

If I said I give it less than 20 minutes, I would have still been right.

Interesting show one episode in.

Did anyone else catch the violin version of "Sanctified" by Nine Inch Nails during the brothel scene?  That was pretty awesome.

I'm all in on this show, so my opinion of the episodes may be biased but I really liked last night's episode.  How great was the Ford (Hopkins) - MIB (Harris) scene?

Really liked Dolores line about "Imagining a story where I'm not the Damsel". Also apparently robots can lie because she was clearly withholding info from Ford.   Who was she talking to though (Arnold, Bernard?)

Is anyone else on board with the theory that we are watching two separate timelines unfold at the same time and that William is a young version of the MIB?

I think that is being set up or teased just overtly enough that it leaves them open for the opportunity of it being a red herring while also subtly enough that is could be what they are driving at and will be revealed to be true towards the end of the season.  Last night seemed like a big nod in favor of the theory, I imagine that next episode will walk that back a bit to keep people guessing.

The cinematography in this show is freaking gorgeous.  Damn does it ever look good.  I'll forgive it a lot of missteps in the future, if it falls off the rails a bit, because I just like watching it.
