@Rambobiggs

Mayweather and McGregor just signed contract. Fight is on.

August 26th

Nothing has been confirmed. Apparently Mayweather pulled that date already.

Now the 26th has been approved by the NSAC but still no actual deal yet for the fight.

BTW no way I spend any amount of significant money to watch this thing.

Saying the PPV will likely be priced at $150 or so.

Nope.

Nope.

Some will balk, but I think this does crazy numbers.

I'm sure it will. Even if I was fiending to watch this gimmick, which I'm not, I wouldn't pay that out of principle. Enough is enough.

Makes sense unfortunately. Mayweather/Pacquiao was $100 and this is probably gonna be bigger. They know people are getting together for this with parties and stuff so they try to combat it with the inflated price. If it was the UFC running it I don't think it would be more than $100.

I'll find a way to watch it without spending a dime. Unless I go to a party where I'm chipping in no more than 10-15 bucks. Really have no interest in watching arguably the best boxer of all time box an MMA guy. It'll be a rather boring unanimous decision.

I don't know if I end up somewhere that has this on or not but I will not go out of my way to watch this.

They will make good money though.

Prediction: mayweather wins and afterwards, McGregor is congratulated for his "courage" getting in the ring with a boxer as good as Mayweather.

McGregor is a hard guy to hate. He may talk a lot during promotions. But he's actually a really good dude outside of his fight promotion alter ego. He's the best talker since Ali.

As far as the fight, all of the fireworks will happen before the fight. The promotional stuff will be 10x better than the actual fight. Mayweather will run and hug and occasionally throw a jab. Win by points, and try and sell himself as some sort of badass. If he does come out trying to knock McGregor out, he may be put to sleep himself. But he's not that stupid.
