I’m so sorry to hear that man. Rooting for her.

Sorry to hear that Sean.

My wife just found out her stepmom has a lump. They have to do a biopsy but seeing as her and my father in law lost her mom to breast cancer, the feeling for both of them is extremely uneasy to say the least.

Can’t help but be scared over that stuff.

Sorry, Sean. Hoping it's early enough and she makes quick progress toward remission.

Last year my brother in law, 29, had colon cancer. Never too early to get checked, especially if something feels abnormal.

Thanks guys.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Been holding this one back until I knew the extent of what she was facing but my sister has breast cancer and had her first chemo treatment Friday. She’s at Hopkins so she’s getting what I hope is the best care. It’s stage 2 and apparently very treatable so I’m hoping for the best. She seems to have a great demeanor about it and is a strong person so I think she’ll be ok but it still scares the crap out of me.

Let me know if you need to talk about it, man. Best of luck to her.

Also, my wife was at Hopkins with her Stage 2 breast cancer and things went...relatively well. Has been a rough 15 months but life is finally "normal" again. She also works at Hopkins Oncology so she might have insight on some of the people that are working on her. Not sure, but it's worth a shot if you want it.

So since about 2013 I’ve written all my articles in a word doc then copy and paste into Wordpress here. A running doc, that is about 800 pages now.

This morning...not the slightest clue where it is.

Ugh that sucks.

I do the same thing but I save them individually.

FIOS On-Demand... Much of what was 'free', you now have to pay for.

Easy work around is to DVR, but don't always remember.

You gotta cut the cord man.  YouTube TV will record anything for you and there is no limit.  I believe it stays in your DVR for 9 months or something crazy.

Sounds like Directv won’t be around much longer either. Now is the time to beat them over the head for discounts. It’s either that or I cancel.

I've been considering this for a long time.. are there any real downsides to YouTube TV? Seems like the best option, but I've been hesitant. I've been dicked around by Comcast so many times in the last year, though, so I'm close.

You gotta do it, whether it’s YouTube TV, AT&T TV, or Hulu Live TV. Coming up on four years for me without cable, never had a regret.

I was going to do it but I didn’t end up doing it, especially when Vue was ending.

I was saving some money but not a lot and I wasn’t going to have a few channels my kids like. We did a 2 year contract and got rid of some of the stuff we had. That dropped my bills about $55 a month. Once this contract is up, I suspect there will be more and better options and that’s when I will switch.

The key for me will be ending the MLB blackout stuff.
