On President and Lombard, one of the busiest intersections in the city, in the daytime, he was literally the only driver on the road? Nobody else reported this at all or could be found to say that this happened? That's all I'm saying.

Don’t ask, don’t tell.

I get your point but even if it’s made up (which would obviously be wrong), they are still an overall problem and Marks post is still spot on.

Like most things these days, perception means everything.

So apparently some guy stole a bunch of gasoline and then ditched his van in a downtown parking garage when it started leaking.  Unfortunately, he did all of this on September 9, basically across the street from the World Trade Center, and now all the streets in the Inner Harbor are closed.

Kind of a first world problem but I am jet lagged like never before after coming home from Greece.

Got home around 6 pm Saturday and I've been up at 2:00 AM, 3:30 AM and 2:30 AM every morning since.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

So layoff Americans and bring in foreign H-1B Visa workers...

Uber has doubled the number of government approvals it has received to hire foreign workers through the controversial H-1B visa this year, while laying off hundreds of skilled employees, state and federal data show.

The San Francisco ride-hailing giant revealed in a California employment-department filing this month that it is laying off nearly 400 workers at its offices in the city and in Palo Alto. The filing showed software engineers at the firm were the hardest hit, with more than 125 people cut loose.

Their entire business model is to degrade the experience faster than they can lose customers and profit off the difference.  And then sell off what's left.

Barstool spiking the football on Deadspin's grave is...like, I like certain aspects of Barstool but it makes it -very- hard to support anyone on that site.

Whitlock is doing the same thing, which is...hilarious for entirely different reasons.
