People who don't know the difference between "Hot Takes" and "Rants".

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Or “pet peeves and rants”

Was supposed to fly nonstop to San Diego tonight out of BWI on Southwest, flight was cancelled this morning. Re-booked and got one with a connection in St. Louis, but that one was also cancelled. Had to re-book a third time and I'm flying out tomorrow morning with a connection in Denver. Maybe the third time will be the charm. Goddamn I hate flying.

Accidentally deleted but the “Pain Guy”, who isn’t a doctor or has, as far as I know, any sort of medical background, is trying to attribute Tyler Skaggs’ death to his arm angle when he pitched. And he’s serious. This guy needs to go away.

If I were in Skaggs’ family I’d be mortified.

Who is the "Pain Guy"?

Or would I rather not know?

Indeed it is.  Nobody ever stole shit from me when I drove an '03 civic with 240k+ miles.  Thought I picked a boring enough car with the newer Accord, but guess not.

They always say the Accords (and Civics, for that matter) are the most popular stolen cars.

Damn, that sucks.

Partly because there are so many of them.

Sorry Mac, does indeed suck.

That sucks man. Sorry about that.

Did you have lugnut locks on it? Just curious...that may have helped prevent this but there are ways around them too.

Yeah I had wheel locks.  Still have them, I guess, as all the lug nuts were left on the ground by the car.

This has happened to at least 3 cars in the last 2 days in the neighborhood.  One of the others was also an Accord also with wheel locks.  Each car was left on the same weird plastic crates, so it's obviously the same people.  Not sure if police will do anything about it, they seemed utterly disinterested in dealing with me.

That happened to a friend of mine - somebody stole all four wheels off his Acura while it was parked in his driveway in Mt. Airy.  They did a better job of putting it on blocks, though.

I think the cops were also useless in his case, although that was a while ago, so you'd think someone in the vicinity might have a doorbell camera or something in your case.

I'm gonna check with neighbors to see if anyone has video.  Lots of people have recording devices now.  But because there is so much foot traffic, most in the area are set to only record if someone walks right up to the door.  Not a ton of people have ones that constantly record.  And this is on the opposite side of the street from anyone's home.

Dammit Mackus, that sucks. Sorry to hear it's your car. I actually saw this on Canton Neighbors this morning. Happening a lot recently.

That sucks dude.  Same thing happened to me a few years ago, except in the work parking lot.  Had to be the day I was borrowing my dad's truck too.  Hope the frame didn't get damaged.
