If it comes out that he was some kind of LGBTQ hero, there's going to be a different group of people lining up to deface that statue.

When people ask why people are “afraid” to go into the city and why businesses are closing down.....

http://www.wcbm.com/...t-inner-harbor/

Such a shame. If you are going to let the inner harbor and that surrounding area to get out of control, it’s really going to deter people from going down there.

As per the Baltimore ransomware... from Bryan Nehman on WBAL radio.

I talked with Dr. Richard Forno from UMBC and Senator Chris Van Hollen about the Ransomware attack on Baltimore. Forno agrees with the NYT's report that it was likely the cyber weapon created by the NSA that was used against the city.

He also said that Microsoft put out a patch for that specific malware in 2017!!! Two years later, Baltimore gets hit...

IF that's what indeed happened not sure why Baltimore would or should qualify for an federal disaster relief money.

When I asked Senator Chris Van Hollen he didn't agree nor disagree with me on federal dollars. Only that he just wants more information before he can make a judgement.

City Council President Brandon Scott has written a letter to the Governor Hogan asking him to ask Congress for federal aid...

Yep.

Some defended the youth as just having fun

Few things:

1) The people that say that are part of the problem.

2) The people who said this should be beaten for stupidity.

The police should have beaten the hell out of these kids and sent a message that this shit won't be tolerated.  Instead, you have some saying "they were just having fun".  GTFO!

You should run for President. Beating the hell out of inner city kids to send a message is a hell of an opening item for your platform.

You have to do something Chris.

You can’t just allow them to do whatever the fuck they want with no consequences.

The cops need to be able to do their jobs and yes, using force (at times) is needed.

You wont get anything under control without it.

If you beat 100 kids today, then you get 1,000 kids and adults beating up innocent people and police tomorrow. If you think the police are gov't are going to help, you're dead wrong. People need to defend themselves, like they have the right to.

I don’t disagree...doesn’t mean the cops shouldn’t be able to use some force at times though. Kids know they can do whatever they want and the police can’t and won’t touch them.

And yes I agree...thus why banning guns is so stupid. Stricter rules, background checks, etc...? Sure.

They can use force, in action. If a cop is right there while 5 teenagers kick an innocent person laying on the ground, they are allowed to used their nightstick to hit the kids in order to get them to stop. But cops can't be everywhere. And you can't have cops waiving night sticks chasing 100 kids down the street, and beating them later for what some may or may not have done earlier.

Who are the cowards taking video? Put your phone down and beat the shit of the kids yourself. Help the helpless victim on the ground.

Yea but I don’t think the cops really can use their sticks now. That’s the problem. They aren’t allowed to do their jobs.

They should have done their jobs in the past. Then maybe they wouldn't need the restrictions or get the scrutiny.

Truth is funny. It's actually not TRUTH to ANY of us, cause none of us were there, saw the entire incident and know without shadow of a doubt what happened.

It's extremely possible that it was just some stupid kids doing stupid shit, and they deserved to be punished and treated like adults. It's also possible that something instigated things that we don't know about and they were reacting.

I just hate when headlines like this happen, and you get this picture in your head, damn awful kids. Then you find out months later they were being loud and stupid but the guy drops a N-Bomb at them and that's what kicks things off, and both sides are to blame.

I've personally seen cases of both happen ALL over this area. None of us know enough to throw stones. No matter what you read on the internet.

TL:DR - Things are rarely as cut and dry as you read online, and unless you were there you really don't know what happened, either direction.

Did you not see the videos?  This wasn't some made up shit.  This is the type of attitude that continues to allow this stuff to happen.

Just sweep it under the rug, pretend it didn't happen and chalk it up to "misunderstood youths".  Fucking ridiculous.

This was a coordinated effort from 400 kids that just wanted to cause issues.   It was their goal to do that.
