I got a theory. Stick with me here.

In that last episode when the guy (Kevin, I think) with Mesa Verde was showing the Kim their expansion plans and the locations, one of the ones he mentioned was Nebraska. Jimmy/Saul eventually goes to Nebraska when he leaves Breaking Bad. Kevin seems like a big fan of Kim's work. With the expansion might want to bring her on board. Maybe she relocates, somewhere, and Jimmy doesn't go with her, hence how he ends up alone and full on Saul by the time BB timeline comes into play. But after breaking bad, Saul and Kim cross paths in Nebraska. She's obviously freaked out. He's got to explain this whole thing. They live happily ever after. Since no one ever does live happily ever after in BB/BCS to this point, It'd be a cool ending.

Kind of a bland episode IMO. Although Mike at the support group was great.

Agreed. This is two weeks in a row I’m falling asleep of boredom.

This week was a little slow but last week was easily my favorite episode of the season.

I liked episode 3.

I have a feeling it will get better. They're definitely doing a lot of stage-setting.

I'm sure it will. I did like episode 3 for the most part.

I feel like every season of BCS goes through this progression. It’s a differently paced show for better or worse. I trust Vince Gilligan to lead us to a good payoff.

I find every episode compelling on some level.

This week you see him take a job that could lead to his downfall..using cell phones as a way to conduct some shady things without people being able to hear you. Everything with Mike is just great..always.

The twins are like cartel super heroes.

The cartel shootout reminded me of Fargo on FX.

Great episode last night. With that cold open I think we're officially at the starting point for Saul Goodman.

And the closing almost puts a timeline on when we get there.

Can't remember, was that same scene from the open a scene from Breaking Bad?

The Dog House was a prominent place in BB too. The laundromat obviously. I feel like this episode made a statement that they are getting very close to that universe.

No, it was a new scene. They did a nice job recreating the law office.

Good episode last night. Wonder how she'll get Huell off. Make him appear special needs?

Wow, was certainly not expecting something that bizarre.

Kim loves the shady stuff. I didn’t expect her to say she wanted to do it again.

Finally caught up on this season.  More typical slow burn that is completely monotonous from a story standpoint but yet still somehow entertaining because of the amazing job done with each character and especially in the framing and sequencing of shots.

I can't believe that next week is the finale.  Not much at all will have occurred during the entire season, and yet it's still a very enjoyable show.
