I've been watching pro wrestling almost 40 years and that was really the greatest thing I've ever seen in pro wrestling.  I mean that genuinely.  That is pro wrestling at its finest: the camp and the characters.  That's what it's all about.

I thought the whole show was well done.  The Undertaker/AJ segment was creative.  I was surprised Takers wife did not show up at some point, but that may have had to do with he virus.

You sound like you also got started on watching wrestling, when they played the shows on Saturday morning.

A couple of other thoughts after the first part of WM.

The matches were given longer and the wrestlers delivered.

The wrestlers were more vocal, which added something to the show, since the fans were not able to provide the atmosphere.

KO and Seth really provided a bit of amusement to what was a good match.

Sammi and DB also.

Bray Wyatt is a genius.

Not sure what the hell that was.  It makes me think Cena can not do a match due to a Hollywood contract.

Entertaining though.

IMO, the WWE did very well in their 2 night Mania.

Ended with Drew winning the belt form Lesnar.  Long way from 3MB

The two cinematic matches they did were insanely good. Like...I didn't even know they were capable of this.

It was such good shit.

I'll have to try to find the boneyard match and funhouse match online somewhere.  Online reports of both are very polarizing.

The Boneyard match was great on its own. Like, if someone gave you 15 seconds of backstory, you'd enjoy it just the same.

The Funhouse match was for the people who have been watching for the past decade. Not exactly "smart" fans, but knowledgeable fans.

IMO they knocked it out of the park.

I really liked the Boneyard match.  I thought the fun house segment was interesting, but it was not a match.  Not sure what the hell it was.

I guess they asked Cena for a favor to get him to participate in it.

It is also very possible that Cena has a Hollywood contract that makes it impossible for him to actually do a traditional match.

It is a shame that everything is going to slow down now, because IMO, they have some real good story lines they could run with.

Curious as to what everyone thought the best match of the weekend was.  Mine, probably KO and Seth.

I thought Edge and Orton did well.  Edge did a lot more than I thought he was going to do.

BTW, the feature  on Edge on the network is a good watch.

In actually watching the Edge show right now.

I wasn’t a fan of Orton/Edge. Probably 15 minutes too long.

Charlotte/Rhea, KO/Seth, the ladder match were the best of the weekend for me.

You know Mr Moxley got a kick out of that.

Charlotte/Rhea was very good.   The ladder match had 3 of the best athletes in the company and was also very good.

I think there were somer messages sent between the companies the last 2 weeks.  Luke Harper had a line on his debut show, saying he was used to dealing with out of touch old men.  I think the gloves are coming off.

Outside of the two that we talked about, KO/Seth was far and away my favorite. Perfect pace, perfect story, did exactly what it needed to do, and KO with a Shane Spot. Can't ask for more than that.

Edge/Orton should have been shorter, but I'm not mad. I think they were trying to do two things.

1) Have them beat the crap out of each other.

2) Prove Edge can still go.

I think it went longer to show that Edge still has the motor, and I get that. And I'm fine with it.

Ladder match was...neat. Liked it. Ending didn't sit right with me but I'm fine with who won.

I can't post twitter links, but if someone can find it, @iamjaywalker has an EXCELLENT backstory for the Bray/Cena match. It's perfect. Please read when you can.

This was essentially a tribute to Cena more than anything. Just...how incredibly lucky he has been, and how his risk aversion after getting to the top...really cost him later in his career.
