Week 12 of the 2017 College Football season was probably the most “boring” to date in terms of needle-moving games, and that is reflected in the Deified Dozen poll. Only one team, Oklahoma State, dropped out after a loss to Kansas State and were replaced by fellow Big 12 member TCU. Ohio State and Notre Dame flip-flopped spots, probably due more to the Irish struggling to get past Navy than the Buckeyes’ rout over lowly Illinois. And there there was, well….that’s it.

Fortunately, Rivalry Week this weekend figures to be just a little more interesting, including an Iron Bowl matchup that is for all the marbles in the SEC West.

Talk about Rivalry Week, the Deified Dozen, and the College Football Playoff here.
